If you wanted to be flash there is a new Hilton just opened right in the centre, but I think the best VFM is the Ibis if you can get in (it gets booked up early!).
That's a long way to travel to see your team get whooped though
Can anyone recommend a hotel in Liverpool?
Me and 3 mates fancy taking in the Liverpool v Chelsea game in November.
It's got to be central and not too expensive. No grotty holes please.

Cheers,
It's a lads long weekend, so the result is not that important (as long as Chelsea don't win :D )
I've used laterooms.com to find some cracking deals in Liverpool before. There are loads of reviews on the site and you can customise the search to be close to a specific point but I don't know what sort of deal you would get several months in advance.
etap or novotel are fairly cheap. Although with etap you do feel like you're in a hostel. But for one night it's more than adequate
Adam, havesome class will ya
Wherever you book, book early and refrain from mentioning the football. Not many sleep the number you want in one room, so a stay at The Casertelli will be cool, as they are fully kitted out apartments.

I have stayed a few times, about £185.00 for the night, but not too much when split. There is a concierge, so taking loose women back is a difficult task, but it's not as stiff as you might think.
For the real Liverpool experience, the new Beetles hotel, Hard days Night is also really good. Similar prices, but you must realise they pipe that crap music all day and all night.

I've stayed in the central Travel Lodge...couldn't fault it. Cheap as well.
I'm not staying in the same room as that lot. I do enough burping, farting and snoring of my own! :DOriginally Posted by burnsey66
We're down on the Friday and home on the Monday, so a 3 nights needed.
Cheers for all the recommendations, I'll have a trawl through them....
I might forward you some spam e-mails that could help out there.Originally Posted by burnsey66

62 Castle Street (on Castle Street) is good
Heywood House on Fenwick Street has been recommended to me but I haven't tried it yet
Holiday Inn Express at Albert Dock is good but you won't get a lie in as the bin lorries can be noisy in the morning.
It can be hard to get a room when there is a home game so best book early.
Having lived on Merseyside for over 22 years I can tell you, there's only ONEhotel to stay at in Livepool....................
The Adelphi.
As featured on TV.
Last time we stayed there we got a suite for £70. :D
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Tell me about it! Tried all the places mentioned and none had 4 rooms left.Originally Posted by RJS
I finally got 4 rooms at the Hampton Hilton which looks OK.....
Hope Street Hotel...not cheap but i wouldnt stay anywhere else, used it many times never dissapointed. And the Phil is a few yards down the road for you to celebrate the win over a few jars plus plenty of other drinking holes around there too. I used to enjoy going to the Adelphi for things like beer festivals...but staying overnight there??!!
Keith you snob :lol:Originally Posted by huytonman

Have checked the location of the Hampton Hilton?Originally Posted by stoneyloon
There is one in the centre and also one right outside John Lennon Airport. The airport one is in Speke, miles away from the centre.
Oh yes, we're in the City Centre one at Kings Dock Mill. :wink:Originally Posted by Willow
