A package from Jacob's Straps arrived yesterday

The grey one is the new one. This is custom fitted to my wrist size and for the IWC deployant clasp:





The clasp sits nicely in the middle of my hand instead of side where it is if you use official IWC strap or the black one I have:

Way less than a non water resistant fabric strap from IWC that doesn't properly work with their deployant. Less than almost any alligator strap you can get from major strap manufacturers like Hirsch or Camille Fournet.

I like the grey better than the black, it's a really good match. Is this alligator strap treated to be waterproof (like some Hirsh)?

I know you have some from him: which colour would you pick for the titanium version? Black is too obvious, grey will not work..

No, they are at least not specified as waterproof. I guess the interor could soak up water through the stitching holes.

Deciding color is up to you. I only have black and grey and everything but black was hard as hell to make up my mind on ;)

Jacob's Straps in Spain is up there with the best, these Ingy straps have a metal insert as well if I'm not mistaken - so they're built to last.
