Is this CWC G10 a fake?

Rounded crown guards, no battery hatch on a 1982 watch, thin case back, this should be a Fat boy from 1982. The dial should only say Swiss rather than Swiss made at this age.
Are their other give aways?

Looks fake to me also - what is the black paint in the engraving all about? Looks so thin that I could snap it in two with my hands. And the lume is amazing for a 21 year old watch.

I've seen ones at antique fairs that when you unscrew the battery hatch the battery aint underneath it.

Having looked at the link I would definately say that the G10 is fake.
The case edges are too rounded especially around the crown where real G10's are more sharper and the dial as good as it looks should say 'Swiss' and not 'Swiss Made',I cannot believe that people actually buy these,they may as well buy an MWC.

The whole thing looks wrong even the way the casemarkings appear. The problem is that unless you know the brand how would you know if you went to a watch fair or bought on eBay? I have never seen a CWC of this date without a battery hatch.

its a private auction so you cant even contact the buyers

this is why i hate people reffering to ebays prices as a guide as well,go buy a fake then.
