What mods have you got? Supercharged or ITBs - hasn't got turbo ears so assume it is a 2.2...,

It's a 2.2, with the final to-do being an SC conversion (if I can stop buying watches!!!). I've done the chassis stuff first.

    1144 mintex pads
    TD 1.2 16/17's + Toyo R1R
    Quantum racing 'Black' adjustables
    Custom geometry
    ITG carbon maxogen air kit
    Larini exhaust
    Lots of carbon interior bits.

Got the same brake pads and wheels but run T1R tyres. Got Gaz gold 2s and full poly bushes with Phoenix Motorsport "Ollie Special" fast road geo. Front and rear lower mount inserts
Full 2.5" Tullett with 200 cell cat, stage 2 sc running 248bhp and 220 lbft (with 90% from 1900 rpm). Got a Fezzasus heater to go in soon and a few other jobs to do whilst it is SORN, need seat grommets for harness bar and harnesses too. Money pit......

I know what you mean, but it's still less than the running and depreciation on a Boxster and it's soon much more fun.

My geo was set up by Qmech for the road, but I'm off to llandow in March with them to get a track setup. The adjustables are great for road and track as you can set it yourself with the car on the floor.

My cat is blowing so it'll be 'modded' ;) after the next mot.

I used to have T1Rs, but I'd recommend going up to the R1R. The difference is incredible, on a track day last year the cornering and braking ability is almost uncomfortable. With your engine the car would be a missile.

Can't fail to recommend Ollie - super job on the suspension refresh (all blasted and coated plus new bushes drop links toe links track rod ends etc etc). Geo is night and day - much more confident on turn in.

Always a nice a selection of cars around too

Yes I'm always at Phoenix Motorsport for ages chatting to the guys and looking at the amazing motors that are in there, they should charge me extra!

I've just sold the W124 E320 so I'm down to just 4 cars now:

    BMW 520d touring
    Subaru Legacy Spec B 3.0R
    Lotus Elan turbo (m100)
    Ford Capri 280

Pics to follow when I get chance to upload them.

My current car is a Volvo S60 2.5 litre turbo (facelift model).

Thanks to some "Swedish know how" it has quite a bit more power and torque than when it left the Volvo factory!

Combined with a low pressure turbo means it has comparable mid-high end punch to a S60 T5 from the same period, but arguably stronger performance from a standing start with minimal turbo lag (whereas the T5 has a high pressure turbo which is more prone to lag).

Thanks! It was a Superlight R in Kawasaki green. 1800 rover engine producing 200bhp. Equivalent model now is probably the R400. It was a great car and stunningly quick.
I sold it to buy a 964 RS which I imported from Germany.
I'm still in touch with current owner of the 7, maybe I can buy it back one day...

That pic is my old k series R300

I've now got a Duratec R400 in polished ali with a black nose and full cage, tucked away in garage and SORN'd because of the weather....judging from today its time to tax and get back in!

They were re-powder coated recently so I've been at them once a week with some cleaner, an old toothbrush and a pressure washer to keep them that way!

    You need some of this:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gtechniq-All.../dp/B004JNVO7C

The best thing I've ever used on alloy wheels.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Going OT here but how was it to apply? I've read a few comments about nano products being a p in the a to get right; needs to be the right (air) temperature, certain particular prep methods, must apply left handed in an anti-clockwise circular motion while hopping on your right leg etc.... And what's the durability like?

It's very durable - in everyday use it lasts about six months between applications for me. My wheels were quite new when I applied it, although I gave them a good scrub with a proper wheel cleaner first - I can't remember which one, but it came from one of the "detailing" suppliers. If you use something like Dodo Juice from a retailer like Ultimate Finish it would do the job.

The C5 came with a couple of applicator pads which had an absorbent core with a gauze either side. It evaporates quite quickly, so you need to remember to keep putting the top back on.

One 15ml bottle is more than enough for a set of wheels, with some left over.

I just wash my wheels when I wash the car, usually once a week, and use a soft bristled brush, and they come up like new.

    ^^ Thanks.

I've already invested in quite a collection of cleaning/detailing kit including a couple of DJ products (the Born To Be Mild shampoo is ace) and a DA polisher but have never gone the nano route, I need to order a few supplies so might just give this a go as well

    Ford Fusion Sport

This is our current "family" car - Ford Fusion Sport.

This is likely to be PX'd for Mrs Bond's choice of vehicle next - Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, which is fine as I like them as well and we need AWD for the winter here. And in approx 18mths, I get my choice and our faithful Ford Focus ST will be PX'd against a new 2015 Ford Mustang

Cheers - I might try some of that, but at nearly £30 including delivery I'd hope it was the dog's TBH :)

The main problem I've had was new pads fitted before the wheels went back on = loads of brake dust for the first couple of hundred miles as they bedded in and that was a real pain to get off, requiring cleaning them almost daily after decent long runs.
