I really do think that a thread like that would go down well here; personally I'd be very interested. By the way...

Well I'm a firm believer in "Ain't no substitute for cubic inches"

So my main car is this.......................

A slightly tuned version pushing just on 480BHP

Whilst my Wife has one of these........................

I've diesel model and find consumption pretty reasonable at a usual 40mpg over full tank. This is mainly daily comute (A-road + bit in town). At high motorway speeds/in town falls to ~37 mpg but will rise to 45 mpg over ideal route.

That is remarkable...and correct! We drove around Scotland for 3 weeks, loved it. Driving that car on those roads was perfect. She's in the shop getting a Rotrex compressor fitted this week
    Excellent, thanks!

The only thing better than driving an R32 on these roads... is driving a motorcycle on them!

When we were up to the old homeland, touring in '08, we stayed in Foyers. That lay-by on the way was the obvious place to stop for a great view.

This is what you see looking forward!

Hope you'll go again - we never tire of Scotland! :D

    Re: What do you drive?

I am lucky to have a choice of vehicles to drive, and depending upon my mood and what activity is ahead I pick the best tool for the job.

Misubishi shogun 3.2 DiD LWB auto.

Heavily modded from Japan, RalliArt adjustable suspension/black glass/bodykit/wheels/tyres/exhaust/induction kit/re-map.

Mitsubishi Delica 2.8 SuperExceed Auto with crystalite roof.

'Medium' mods for occassional greenlane/Beach use, wheels/tyres/induction/snorkel/spots.

Rear bank of seats removed, leaving four captains chairs and a huge boot, 2WD/4WD/HIGH/LOW RATIO/DIFF LOCK can change from 2WD to 4WD and back whilst on the move.

    Nissan R35 GTR Skyline.

My favorite vehicle believe it or not is my Mitsubish Delica, it is excellent for daily use and will go anywhere, it carries Quads, Bikes, mountain bikes etc, it has a high driving postion and people tend to get out of its way.

    Re: What do you drive?

Last month my dad passed away and I was massively depressed, so decided to splurge on something to cheer myself up and take my mind off things. Decided on an E92 M3 (manual) in space grey. Easily the best car I have ever owned. I cant see anything surpassing this for a long time! I would share pictures but Im abroad at the moment and on a company server that has blocked my photobucket uploads. 11 more days and I'll be home and straight out for a drive :D

    Re: What do you drive?

Just bought a 9 month old Jaguar XF 3 litre diesel auto and I`m loving it....just as well as I`m planning to keep it for a loooong time :) .

It's quick and it's very refined. Had considered an Audi A5 or 3-series Beemer......but this is in a different league.

0-60 in 6.7secs is fast enough for me; as it's an auto the performance is effortless, can`t see me ever going back to a manual.

Slight update - now fitted with Silver B7 RS4 wheels and lowered on AST coilovers :thumb:

Loving it - however not loving the many trips to the petrol station which lately have been extracting up to £80 a time out of my ever decreasing wallet, it's no wonder there are so many of these for sale and the price has dropped out of the market. These are £15k minimum about 8 months ago now, you can easily pickup a good one for not much over 10K now
