    What do you drive?

Watches seem to go hand in hand with cars, in my experience anyway!

So what do you all drive? Do we have any old classics under a cover in the garage?

Whilst I'm looking around for my next watch purchase, I am also considering spending the money on a MK1 MX5 and supercharging it for some summer stupidity. Only issue is I've run out of space to keep it!

    What do you drive?

I couldn't love it much more - I live in London, work silly hours, have a girlfriend who doesn't really 'get' cars (it didn't help that I got this one on her birthday), but have still done 16k miles in 17 months! Mountain passes, open roads, cross-country, you name it it laps it up. Highly, highly recommended. Could be a little more raw on occasion but as a package it's unbeatable.

Appreciating fine things is of course different to getting cars, I'm told :-)

I drive this during the week and in the rain etc...

And this if its ever sunny, as the tyres don't work in the rain or cold...!

Pic is from the top of the Stelvio pass. Not the most relaxing drive I've ever made.

    Hello! You on vx220.org?

Is yours supercharged? I've been thinking abut it but instead looking to upgrade the wrist wear instead :)

Took the car on a track day to llandow in the summer and it was keeping up with road tyre'd turbos easily, as it's running R1R tyres.

Bit crap in the bad weather though.

Yup same username on .org been on there over 8 years and had the car 7.5. Didn't make it to the national though as it was the weekend after a bit Scottish Elise event.

Used to have plans to move to a tubby or supercharge it but I love it so much I'm scared of ruining it. so bought a motorbike instead :D

    +1 but insert e220d for c200 and Kawasaki 1100 for Honda 1000.

I recall getting seriously blown away by one of these back in the day, some really stealth ones out there.

Admittedly not in that colour though!

No, I had the front wall knocked down so I can get the ML onto the hardstanding at the front of the house. Planning application is in for the dropped kerb and my builder is back next week to smarten things up.

You can never be too careful, but to be respectful to the environment and others in their Eco boxes, I mainly use the V8 Range Rover for the school run...
