No, it must just be the pictures - there’s no shade difference.

I had a minor prang in the Boxster, just one of those simultaneous lane changes and down to bad luck. It just went over the write off threshold, apparently, but following a recent service I was told I needed to spend about four grand on other work so in a way it was a blessing.

I've just driven it about 65 miles home, and it's an absolute joy. Far more engaging than the Boxster, although i did notice the back twitch on a couple of corners (I was going pretty quickly and it was chucking it down, mind).

So far, very happy indeed, although i think I'll let Skuzzle work some magic on it in the spring (the basic upgrades take it from 158 to 200bhp).

What are you on about? Can recommend a good park in NW London where you can have all the dog shite you want!

In this pic the bonnet is clearly a different shade hence why I asked.

In this pic it’s less obvious but still there

That's just the reflection of the sky. In this photo - and in real life - it's exactly the same.

Pity, I really liked your boxster but as you’ve said above maybe quite fortuitous if it needed expensive work.

Rather boringly I have a Golf R in Lapiz blue. I really fancy a Civic Type-R but don't want people pointing and laughing at the way it looks. A mazda mx5 RF has also taken my fancy now that they've upped the power a wee bit.

With the recent cold weather are you getting the dreaded tyres “skipping” on the GLC yet?

Not that i have noticed it feels so far very stable on the road and we take it for what it is a big old lump of basic machinery.

  13. #4663
Picked my 111s up last Monday after having new front and rear clams fitted, a full respray and a couple of other minor tweaks carried out including a "fast road" geo - it probably looks and drives better than when it left Hethel!

Two days later I drove up to Anglesey where I stayed the night ready for an early morning ferry to Ireland, I'll be leaving the Emerald Isle on Friday. Nearly 1000 miles covered so far on what is proving to be one heck of a trip, here it is parked up on Inch Beach on the Dingle Peninsular.

Amazing! A lot of people haven’t heard of Inch. I have connections on Inch Island and recently returned from burying my gran there. What took you there?

Different "Inch", I think I presume that you're talking of Inch Island County Donegal, I was on Inch Beach in County Kerry.

As for what took me to Inch Beach - road trip, pure and simple. Trying to pick out parts of the Wild Atlantic Way, I've been stunned by what I've witnessed so far.

I've just got a petrol CX5 for sensible duties. Three children with one that has oxygen / extra kit has put pay to smaller cars!

Very impressed by the infotainment system, really easy to use and dare I say it, logical.

Wanted a 6, as they're a lot cheaper for the same age / spec than a CX5, but didn't work so well in the back for us.

House is nearly done, after that... fun car...

    Calm down luv.

It was in reference to a former/silent member who insisted that everyone's monitor needed adjusting.

And he posted a picture of his Rolex resting on a piece of dog sh*t.

    That is all.

Now that is a Range Rover!

I love that so much of the aesthetic DNA from the classic is still present in later models.

An old BMW 130i modded! LSD, with BMW Performance Exhaust and Intake together with massive suspension mods.

Lovely to drive.....bit uncomfortable on long journeys though.

Finally got around to downloading tapatalk, so hopefully this works with photos (apologies for composition!) my last 3 work whips, only black left to get the full set..

Awaiting fitting of canopy on this one:

I got fed up with the BIK on cars and as I’m changing every 3-6 months, the Wildtrak Autos have all the spec and cost me a lot less (except in fuel!).

Where do you live as I want a ride in both, especially the 'Stang', think once in the McLaren I'd have to be craned out as it's so low ?

I didn’t think they did any ‘special’ Mustangs in RHD? That is lovely!!

The McLaren is also a special thing but I struggle to get in and out of them/fit!

The Mustang is a stock 5.0 with mods to suit... the bonnet looks like a Cervini, a USA based supplier of aftermarket mustang body panels..

After market wheels, chin spoiler, and a few stripes makes a normal mustang a special mustang👍👍

Nice, almost bought one a couple of years ago. Had a test drive and thought it drove well.

Brilliant, I’ve had mine since June and unusually for me, even so early on, I still love it! Coming from a Golf R I thought I’d miss the speed but I’ve yet to feel that it’s underpowered. That said, I’m keen to have it tuned for even more fun but there’s not much available nearby as yet.

Of course you also have the Porsche for those really special drives don’t you?

Cars have never done it for me tbh. A cheap reliable easy-to-maintain diesel Astra keeps me happy now. I don’t do the miles I used to and enjoyed a series of Audi’s when the mileage was higher.

I recently acquired this Mexico Blue 991.1 GT3RS.

    Thanks Comet.

I had been looking for an Ultra Violet car in the right spec but as soon as I saw this Mexico blue
on the forecourt I pulled the trigger.

Stunning colour, certainly no hiding though!

I wimped out on my M4 & went boring Mineral White instead of Yas or Custard.

Seeing this makes me fear I’ve made a mistake, damn it!

Yes- there is no hiding and it’s a bit conspicuous being so bright......
part of the appeal though for me was residual value- there were lots of lava orange and ultra violet
UK cars but apparently only about 5 in pts Mexico blue- so I hope not to take a bath when I sell.

A friend of mine has a Yas Marina M4 and it looks the absolute business!

Jeepers that’s not a lot of clearance to the wheel arch. Did you lower it further? Looks amazing in that colour with the black wheels.
