My pride and joy - and my only car!

Not as tidy as the picture makes out - stonechipped to death up front and rust appearing in the arches. Needs some money spent :(

This because I work in London and for company car tax purposes, although just about to be replaced by something less eco friendly.

And this because I'm a massive petrolhead at heart.. Estate for dog carrying purposes.

There's some gorgeous cars on here. My steed at the moment is this:

Having been a Land Rover nutter for many many years, I finally decided to get something that's comfortable and doesn't need constant maintenance. It's perfect for the dogs (you can't hear or smell them), loads of room for the kids and it's the most car like of the trucks available. Unfortunately it's black so the filthier it is the better ! Okay, it doesn't have the off road ability of a Defender but you can't have everything. Most importantly, my wife likes it !

An S3 - in stealth mode. Unfortunately, it is up for sale.

chicaneuk - loving the Corrado there. Always wanted one but had to make do with a couple of Sciroccos over the years. I hear rumours of VAG have plans afoot to come out with a new Corrado, a la Scirocco.

I'm fairly into the Corrado 'scene' - have owned them for years, am part of numerous forums and clubs, etc.

I know the Scirocco has been well received by customers and VW have sold more than they expected to - but I think now with VAG being the huge brand it is, and with so many other models competing in the same space, and given how the Corrado wasn't exactly a success for VW (unlike the MK1 & MK2 Scirocco) - I just don't think it'll happen. Scirocco works because it's for those who can afford a Golf but don't quite need the practicality and want something a bit more fun. Anyone with any more money would just go and buy an Audi TT. I don't see where the Corrado would slot in to their range.

Don't get me wrong though - I'd love it if they did release a new Corrado if only because of the features and so forth that would no doubt mention & feature the original :)

Absoulutely fine, does the M25 everyday. Took a bit of getting used to as my previous car was an auto but soon got the hang of it again. Great fun. Not sure it will do so well when the snow comes in the winter but a great excuse to stay at home

Nice. I think many Ferraris look better in colours other than red.
Does it get driven as intended though?!

I think the car looks best in black. Disguises the air intakes and rear under tray which just blend in. Don't think many get driven to the max do they. I just enjoy the noise and a bit of acceleration up to the speed limit!

I've been thinking about buying a cheapish convertible for the summer(!) so when I saw this advertised locally I went for a look and ended up buying it.

I need to take some better photos, these are from the ad.

It's only the 2.2 but still has the lovely six cylinder engine.

Absolutely. Plus, I assume it's a company vehicle so cheap as chips to him!

But what I want to know is how he gets to the plane in the morning!! Possibly a 1986 Kawasaki ninja 900?
