Newbie to Rolex with this forum being an invaluable source of information.

My choice for first Rolex will be between.

Daytona TT 116523 White Arabic dial, with the exchange from Euros to Pounds costing £ 7,664.00 I understand this is the first one with this dial they have had in stock as its a new dial.

Submariner TT 116613LB at £ 5,620

Or wait as the AD is expecting a Daytona SS in this month but no discount so will cost £ 6,200

Guidance would be appreciated.

I think the prices are quite fair, I didn't even ask but was offered discount on the TT

TT sub would be my first choice but just above the SS daytona. something about the TT daytonas that just dont appeal to me!

Whatever you decide make sure it the one you want not what people say!

If that 116523 comes with the white Arabic with all black sub dials,
which imho is the nicest modern Daytona dial, I would go for it

Keep the replies coming, its quite interesting the different opinions.

I like the idea of the TT Daytona with the off white dial and Arabic numbers as I haven't seen this before so I would guess much rarer, but not a great fan of the TT for a daily wear watch.

So why do I like the Blue Sub. I think this will be down to what happens this coming weekend in the Premiership, followed by the FA Cup, I think my Member name might give it away that I've been a huge Chelsea fan for many years, this really could be the ultimate reminder of their achievements this year or maybe not.

The SS Daytona, this is the calling one, its going to be a very long month waiting in anticipation of its arrival so I can compare all 3 together.
