I know not everyone appreciates this model.......but I do :thumbright: (but then I am biased)
It is a great looker, even if it isn't full of pig iron
Must admit, growing quite fond of IWCs now - find them quite faultless and excellent finish
and now with this arrival today - LOVE IT ! feels verrrry nice on the arm

Stunning mate congrats - she's a real beauty - if you ever sell it i'd love 1st refusal...
Very nice, Peter, congratulations!
Great gathering of IWCs. I like the new Inge. My older cousin says hallo!

Love the Ingenieur, but find them too big for my puny wrists - and the midsize at 34mm is too small!
How about something in the middle, IWC?
I to would like a "sensible size" IWC Inge. 36 - 38 mm would be just right.
No Ingenieur but how about the Mark XVI at 38mm? :)
That Inge does nothing for me!

Aahhh nuts, who am I kidding, I want one.

I'm a fan of these also! The Mark XII and Mark XV are also v.nice. I think the former is 36mm and the latter 38mm and I have the Mark XVI down as 39mm.
Notice a trend??

Loverly, big fan of IWC since I got in to the brand with my 3717.
I would love a 5001-07 and a 3227-01 and a 5004-02 and a PPC and a .... oh dream on Jacob
+1 (well, ... )
Cheers,
Christian
Great collection Peter
Particularly love the gold Amalfie .....a really underestimated piece.

Many thanks chaps, yes they have a certain 'Teutonic' quality feel - and honestly, although I also have AP, VCs and not least Blancpains, the IWC range seems definitely more 'wear me every day' ....
WHY did I let my 3536-1 go
The 3703 Amalfi I agree it's up there with JLC/VC in finish, gorgeous porcelain dial.
See last one at Antiquorum in Geneva knocked down at 14,400 SFR
Cheers, Peter
I don't know but I'm glad you did!Originally Posted by ingenioren
It, and a couple of friends, say hello.
funny how IWC fans hardly ever stop at one watch, began last year with none, then ended the year with a 3717 and Mark XV.
Very nice brand the mark XV1 is very good looking and I believe they are a quality watch.
Great watch, well done, still waiting on my IWC, it's been on holiday for general service in Shaffhausen for 21 weeks now, not long to go...
Did they tell you it would be that long before it went away?Originally Posted by JYvdK
I have just returned my vintage Ingenieur for a service and they have advised 20 weeks.
Ah well ....at least I have time to save up for the cost of the work done

Thanks Peter, it is great on the strap but I like to have the option to swap, so I had to get a bracelet - not cheap, but had to be done :)Originally Posted by ingenioren
As far as I know, the bracelet (which is also for the Big Inge) isn't an option, but is available on request, reference IWA26856.
They did; 22 weeks was the timeframe given to me ; I agreed..Originally Posted by firewire
