If it can be domed contact Mkiiwatches m8. They should be selling 30mm diameter glasses that are probably around 2.5-3mm the 30mm domed sapphire is sold under Seiko monster Skx779 glass.

Anyone know a source for 3mm thick Sapphire crystals with an outside diameter of 30mm??
Most i have come across are only 2mm thickness. :(

Laminate a .9mm sapphire onto a 2mm thick mineral. :mrgreen:
I've tried that and it didn't work very well it was perfect until I fitted it to the watch case :(
What happened Bry, did it just come apart, i believe its cured using uv glue but may be wrong.

The stuff I tried just crazed tried a few times and still crazed obviously need a better resin.
you can get 3mm domed from cousins however it is only 1mm at the edges.

Try the Sternkreuz UV Cure adhesive. I've created thick domed crystals in the way Lysander described with no problem when the correct size couldn't be found. Use a good UV lamp to cure it.
I was using some fancy bubble free laminate resin obvs not designed for strength.
