Congratulations!
.... something tells me that today is going to pass rather slowly for you...
Arrived first thing this morning and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately I didn't have time to do anything about re-sizing or remove the bracelet so it's going to have to wait for its first wear. I've read pretty much every review out there on this watch so I was expecting a quality bit of kit but still had a pleasant 'oh, now that is niiiice' moment when I first saw and held it. Can't wait to try it out over the weekend :)

Congrats, you've chosen wisely and I'm not surprised to hear how impressed you are with it :D
Cheers - yes, I'm anticipating a very slow day! Starting to consider strap options now too. Anyone able to confirm if the timefactors open-ended aviators fit ok? Any pics of that combo?
David
Nice to hear you are pleased with it and congrats on taking the plunge. I also have the good news that it will grow on you even more as you wear it!! Mine gets more than its fair share of time with my works suit. A superb watch and one of Eddie’s finest. Keep an eye out for a PRS-20 too.
Congrats on a very nice pick up, I'm getteing sorely tempted to try one of these, even if it has not got a bezel
Cheers

Excellent choice, I've got one of those and it's a firm favourite 8)

Hi, I got one for Christmas and I love it too. I have a black Hirsch Traveller strap for it and that fits without a problem.
Don't bother resizing the bracelet. Put it on the Bond laying next to it. :bounce:

Good choice David.
Mine gets more than its fair share of time on the wrist. I have tried it on the supplied Nato strap but love it on the bracelet.
Another vote for this one, next on my list for certain.
:D Good choice, mine is wonderful and the quality astounds me for its cost.
Wear on a plain black NATO. Low key style for beach or board room. Better yet, matt black sharkskin.

Cheers for the suggestions folks. I liked it on both the black and Bond NATOs and I'm very keen to try it on leather but for the moment it's back on its now sized bracelet. And I'm still loving it....
Has anyone got any pics of an SBIII on a timfactors parallel aviator with fishtail buckle? I fancy trying that strap but wonder if it might be a bit chunky for the watch. Maybe a tapering aviator strap with smaller buckle would look more elegant and suit the watch better.

How was it getting the bracelet on and off? By all accounts it's a sod of a job...
To be honest I didn't have too much of a problem. I removed it easily enough just using a fine precision screwdriver (my spring bar tool was too big and I was being impatient!). Just gently pulled the bracelet and popped out one end of the springbar at a time. Putting it back together I had help. We placed the watch face down with the endlink across the back of the lugs. One person compressed both end of the spingbar (again with screwdrivers) and the other pressed the endlink down into place. Simples. ...I imagine that would be a pig of a job by yourself though!Originally Posted by Dazzler
