I agree with your sentiment about the seller contributing - I’ve made contact with them to this effect.

It’s complicated by the fact the dealer is in Italy...

So having now sourced a fantastic example from 1992, its clear the watch needs a service ... losing 5-10 mins/day.

The bracelet/case/bezel are unmarked - I kid you not.
