I think they abandoned the 1441 owing to reliability issues, that's what I was told.
My own pre-Bond Seamaster had a 1441, the circuit died and I ended up buying a replacement ETA movement,...
No problem getting movement parts, its ETA 2892.
Automatics are hard to find, at the time these were current quartz models were very much in the accendancy.
