Re: Incoming dunhill ........(now with pictures)

I think the new range have JLC movements, but speaking to Dunhill this week, they said the cases they make themselves. Whether that means "make" or design is questionable..

Re: Incoming dunhill ........(now with pictures)

Produced in 2005'ish with a limited edition of 1500, RRP £1800, but never really sold for that, expect anywhere from £650 for preowned, as it sold generally at circa £1400.

    Re: Breitling thoughts....

I've got no problem with Breitling, they ensure the dealers are well trained (generally) and offer good back up. Any dealer offering any greater discount than 20% is overstepping the mark, unless...

    Re: Incoming dunhill ...............

Was a bit wary, but I think you just have to go with what you like. Didn't know that JLC are involved with the recent models, but they do seem to be high quality, and I'm sure Dunhill will give a...

    Re: Watches and Boxes...

I gotta say, isn't it a little uplifting to open the safe and take out a nice quality box, then open it up to select your timepiece of the day? For me it's part of the daily ritual.

    Incoming dunhill ........(now with pictures)

Any one got any opinions on Dunhill watches? I had seen the A-centric with a black face and black leather strap a couple of times and always looked twice. Anyhows, more out of intrigue than desire...

Can't be too much camera trickery, as the trees in the background seem to be growing upright :?
  12. Re: Is Robbie Williams really scared of come back ??

Suppose there's a reunion album and tour yet to come with take that - but it seems like everyone around him is soooo nervous that he'll lose it. Seems like that nervousness is rubbing off on him a...
  13. Is Robbie Williams really scared of come back ??

After the interviews on Johnthan Ross and Loose Women, I wonder whether Williams is really shy of the spotlight or is he just acting humble to regain the love of his aging fans. Watched the round...

  16. Breitling Ocean Racer Strap Advice - Please ...

Super ocean heritage has just arrived - but i'm a bit unsure on the strap adjustment. The AD advises that the strap should be equal length to centralise the clasp but to my mind this seems to be...

Re: Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard

I think the BBC points of view post bag may be a little heavier next week, after non F1 fans saw a sweaty EJ (a BBC presenter), jumping up and down and singing football style chants - some will be...

Re: Which would you choose this or that?

The JD is interesting in a curiosity kind of way, but the IWC is a wearer. So if you are plan to use as a dress watch, it's got to be IWC IMO. :D
  20. Re: "Her indoors" new timepiece .................

Actually the watch was not completely fastened, it has a double clasp lock which only had one half shut, that's why it looks loose.

Scored massive brownie points, so now continually glued to SC...
