A welcome and affordable addition to Sports options at least, even though the divers he released were truly dull and uninspiring.
A solid effort even if they are not for me.
It's a truly uninspiring design however, it just goes to show how hard it is to come up with fresh designs in today's market. All credit to him for getting it to market and perhaps it will help guide...
No I don't have the same opinion on Miyota. My experience to date has been good and far better than the Seiko 4R/6R options however, I haven't had extensive use, as yet.
A seasoned WIS friend also...
It's also worth remembering that the divers utilizing this movement weren't always such a premium but sadly, Seiko have followed suite of all other Swiss brands. Has the movement changed, not from my...
I've looked at the divers many times and I've done a lot of research and watched as many vids as I could find. They are a quality watch, gloss dials, ceramic bezel, solid movements, very good cyclops...
Haha yes, good ole Cilla!
Ha! Where's Zilla when you want him :suspicion:
Good point.
Let's take the IWC Pilot's Chrono 41 with the green dial. I'm fairly confident that maybe 16 months ago or even less it was A$10,000 here in Perth but now, it has jumped to A$12,800!!!...
I would have to say yes, they are.
I think they have well and truly arrived with regards the absurd prices they are asking, even in the time I have been on here and into watches, which isn't that...
I now avoid them at all costs as I think they are crap movements. I had a SARB for years and it always ran poorly, even after a service and regulation.
Haha truly absurd, hilarious, ridiculous, sad blah blah blah.................
"Nolex; not coming to a showroom soon"
I'm a huge fan of the DJ in 36mm and have always plumbed for a jubilee and fluted bezel variant but I have to say, this looks equally as good:
...
Love IWC and the pilot range however, those hands have never worked or suited the model and they should revert to the originals.
And let's be honest, what journey........:unconscious:
Although I don't mind two tone, out of the four you have suggested, I would plumb for the stainless steel with the blue dial. It has a timeless look and would age well. My ultimate favourite would be...

As far as I am aware, they have had Omega and Breitling previously but no longer, not sure why. I think IWC would work well for them and I agree with maybe something like Nomos as well or even Sinn...
I thought I would revisit this post from 6 months ago with an update and say the shop appears to no longer be a Rolex AD so, they were telling the truth. Their website now only lists Grand Seiko,...
This is an updated site however, I was under the impression that this was the real deal and always has been plus, great choice:

It will sell like hot cakes no doubt, especially if you go by the Smiths models of late. I'm surprised it took them this long to release one.
It had to happen:

Haha very good.
Surely it should be renamed Nolex! Meh.
Quality is good as usual and thankfully it is less like a Sub but, the matte dial is a negative for me but overall, for the money. quality watch.
I'm going to finally come clean and say I owned...
