Hagwe everyone
One of my grail pieces, but as you’ve found there is a huge variety of configurations and prices. A lot of the top money watches looked too good to be true with some certain undisclosed laser welding...
Things like this can’t happen without the entire chain of command being in the loop.
Ive just seems that Kibble Watches is selling the same Carl Brashear watch. I’m tempted to purchase and have a go at emulating that level of funky patina.
Where did I leave that time machine [emoji38]
Yes I saw a video of him doing everything imaginable whilst wearing the watch to get it to that stage. Milk and vinegar etc
That’s really something special. I’ve just looked at other examples of her work and she’s an incredibly talented lady.
Good spot, I quite fancy a bronze cased watch after seeing the level of patina achieved by the owner of Oris with his Carl Brashear. It’s almost totally turquoise...

I have the steel mk1 version and would certainly have taken the plunge on a tax free one of these. Enjoy it in good health
So, if my Hesalite crystal had fine scratches and I used polywatch to remove them it didn’t work in your opinion?
Maybe if the internet wasn’t full of pedantic old farts like yourself we’d all be...
One of the things I love about my hesalite speedy is that a couple of minutes with some polywatch and the crystal is good as gold.

I remember one time I was lucky enough to come away with one of these, my...
Thank you,

This is true,
But I’ve been thinking recently that with the rise in value of originals, it has lead to a lot of Frankenstein watches being made up to appease the demand. So if you factor in the...
Likewise.
I think this piece will be limited production due to the number of 321 movements that they can manufacture annually
Just seen the long rumoured steel 321 ceramic bezel speedy has been unveiled [emoji7]

I have an Atmosphere with Moonphase and temperature.
It’s a beautiful object, exquisitely made, but I don’t think it’s ever run reliably or accurately since I’ve owned it [emoji1787]
I really like the jubilee on the explorer. One of the benefits of the Rolex hype is that we’ve become so bored seeing the same gang of sports models over and over ad nauseum that people are thinking...
Cheers Alec, it is lovely [emoji4]
