I have added a WTB. Shame I didn't go through this 6 months ago when there was still stock!
I might give it a punt for a low bid near the the closing date but 36mm seems a bit small - a low bid, test and then possible resell on eBay would possibly work.
Ta. I'll keep a closer eye out.
There is one on eBay at the moment in Austria but it has a price premium. Is 400 EUR a sensible price?
Yes that is perfect! I just need to find one now... :-)
Good suggestion. In a previous buying mood I was obsessing over a Nomos Orion so familiar with the style.

I have been toying with a Rolex Explorer but, don't laugh, wanted to practice with a cheaper no date watch to make sure I can cope without a date on my wrist having had one for my entire adult life....
Yep summed it up perfectly. I have been on the verge of quitting for the past 5 years. Never had the balls.

I bought a refurbished MacBook a few years ago. It was just like new. Maybe a refurb iPad mini? £189.

Maybe see if she will go for something a little different: Mondaine. Much more stylish (and timeless) than the Tag IMO.

Great hands on write up thank you. I have an 8500 42mm which I love although find it a bit chunky and heavy as a daily wearer (despite being on a Hirsch performance strap for the summer).
I am not...
+1. Totally put me off too.

I have the PO8500 42mm and was initially put off by the HE valve. To be honest, I *never* even notice it. Maybe because a lot of the time it is covered by a sleeve?
Here is mine:

Awesome! A great choice :-). Since mine has been repaired about 3 weeks ago I have worn it all but about 2 days. Totally loving it.
I currently have it on a black Eulit perlon:

Oops just checked the WatchGecko website and the *do* offer a reasonable range of colours. I went in via a Google search and didn't see the full range. Now wondering what the difference is between...
I am normally a bracelet person but I have had my PO8500 on a Hirsch Performance Rubber/Leather combo since about March. I bought this one:...

The wait list for a BLNR is only a few weeks and the new price is cheaper than used. Why not ring around a few ADs and get on a few lists?
At two separate ADs a few months apart, I got offered two...
I like a splash of colour too. That is why I went for the orange numerals version of the PO rather than the polished silver. I have paired it with a Hirsch Robby strap to pick up on the Orange theme....
I have an early 2000s GMT that I have had for a couple of months. I bought it in black and I was a bit dubious about the cyclops.
I was so dubious about the cyclops that I bought an old polar...
I could but funds would require trading both my PO and Skyfall and I am not sure I want to part. I have a few months to consider, reconsider, then reconsider again ;-)

I have a coke 16710 from around 2001 at the moment and have been considering flipping it for a BLNR. I am close as I have my name down on the waiting list for my AD with a note to say I won't have...
Aaarg the filth. I have an old Seiko kinetic that I wore every day for 13 years and it was nothing like that. I guess the occasional swim and shower (for the watch!) makes a difference. Either that...
