Hands are too small...
I don't really see the problem for watch buyers in Ireland - Britain has always been a bit backward compared to places like Germany: far fewer brands and models available here IME, used or new. Now...
If the budget stretches that's a true watch-for-life - and for me the same applies to the UX: I will own one or the other at some point! :love7:
How are we forgetting Scurfa?

Certina DS Action - gem-like little watches, sapphire crystals, ceramic bezels, and micro-adjust bracelets that are worthy of something much pricier. Picked mine up used for £300 on ebay.

I think the publicity shots are all on a Bonklip bracelet. Kind of doubt they'll got to market with it.
I love the style of a lot March LA.B's stuff - some quite original design motifs, and a...
Unlike modern phosphorescent pigments functional "fresh" Tritium should glow in the dark even if the watch has not been previously exposed to light. However, Tritium has a pretty short functional...

Very much enjoying the mildly-ironically-named "Spitfire" strap from Cheapest NATO Straps on the Dekla flieger. Some huge reductions on their site when I last looked (and even sale items qualify for...
GWS G1 Chrono on an aftermarket strap. Worth a heads-up, cos these beautifully designed Tritium illuminated, 100m WR, Ronda quartz chronos are down from ~£300ish to just £162 on their site at the mo:...
Crossed this bridge five years ago. Arms grew too short - couldn't read the text on the back of CD cases or solder small electrical components satisfactorily; odd what you notice first. +0.5...
Entire thread devoted to the subject here...
Absolutely love it.
I've ummed-and-ahhh'd over their configurator a little more often than is sane, but at the time I'd never seen decent pics of a finished watch, so never did make a purchase. ...
Ha! Love it, most droll!
Today, I have been mostly: Dekla Pilot 40 -

Surprised they don't mention his time commanding the USS Enterprise :eek-new:
Nice. I have the green-dialled version - great watch that gets a lot of wear, and every bit as scratch resistant as Sinn and Damasko - not a mark on it.

It's seven days since I carefully synch-ed the Dekla with my Casio Wave-Ceptor, during which time it has gained 18 seconds - approximately 2.5 seconds per day - which I find very acceptable indeed.

More jumping-hour than strict one-hander, but I do like the look of some of Reservoir's offer:

Excellent stuff as always, thanks :encouragement:
Two days in, and sodding Dekla have just released a slew of coloured and gradient dial versions of the Turbulenz I originally had my eye on.
Saved the day by convincing myself that I am buying...
