Straight off to look this up! What a stunner!
What a beauty! Amazing how we can still come across watches that spark an interest even though you'd written the whole brand / style / function off!
I forgot to post my latest in here... My wife was away in NYC a couple of weeks ago for business and I got treated to this on her return! A Timex + Todd Snyder Military : White.
A cream face in...
A new incoming this week… a Seiko Explorer mod. Very nice feeling on the wrist, and the first time I have used a Euilt Perlon. The quality is outstanding, but it does seem a bit stiff and not overly...
Really tempted by one of these in blue too... more pics on the NATO when you find it would be great!
Lovely... the white really pops! Is this the 34 or 39mm?
A guy called Sausage Dog Seiko... seems very professional to me!
Nope... they are Explorer handset, on a blue oyster perpetual 36mm. All standard oysters only come with baton hands.
I LOVE this model with the mod applied!! Did you do it or picked it up already converted?
Like I say in my post above, I love smaller cased watches with sports hands. This is how this Rolex should...
A pick up from one of the blokes who are making mods and selling on eBay. This one really did appeal : SEIKO SNKE01K1 Polar Explorer mod.
I had intended to whip it straight onto a perlon, but...
Is this e-commerce only from Hamilton... thats what I read. How do you find the AR - does the crystal reflect lots?
Looks a stunner!
I can't believe they have put a date on the Seaforth... I'd have been all over it otherwise, as this orange is magnificent!
A bit of an unusual watch for the TZ incoming… I stared to get a bit nostalgic over Christmas about the Swatch Watches I once had and which have long since vanished, all down to reading A Man and His...
I forgot to add this to the thread over the holidays... A surprise present from my wife. Love it, with a great strap as well. The quality over all really impressed me!
...
I'd missed out on this one... it looks great. Is it a rich blue??
What a stunner, John! Looks like the ageing is really even across the dial. Lovely.
What a great focused collection. Shows how much difference you can work on a theme.
I fancied a cheapie beater digital... and this little Casio A168WA-1Y fitted the bill perfectly! Reminded me of the days as a little lad getting a new digital every birthday with its vintage looks.
...
Glad you like it Ant! Looks good on your wrist.
Did you have any luck with the bracelet?
I have had this one on for a little over a week now... and its a unique beauty at that! Maybe a one off, blasted Seafire. A really good trade deal went through with Julian, he got a SK007 for a...
I thought the same when it was going through the design stages… I understand how is looks like a counter on the dial though, so works in that respect.
It is quiet close to the centre of the dial,...
^^^ I love how clean and simple that is, but at the same time very striking!
As always happens two have come to me this week.
The Mondaine is not my typical watch, but this was my late father-in-law's. We finally decided to take it off his bedroom table and it comes to...
Nobody had anything new in a week?! I've not had anything since Xmas, so this thread is as close as I have at the moment!
^^^ well worth the wait… the lume looks fantastic!
