It's amazing how the first G-Shock design Casio did is still the best looking - such a brilliant watch.
Looks amazing. I usually like just a smidgen of colour, e.g. a red Shock Resist triangle, but I don't feel it's missing here.
The DW-5735D, a screwback metal case anniversary model.
Haha, if I had a watch like that, I'd be showing it off, too -it's killer, SL, I can't get enough of it!
The aftermarket strap finally arrived from China a few days ago:

I love how understated the watch becomes once you've changed the red resin for black.
Yeah, the brushed gunmetal finish on the caseback and the buttons is killer ... so you know what I'm going to say, right: hopefully one day soon, Casio releases an entire watch finished like this....
I'm also unhappy about the 3421 module, though I'm approaching it from the other direction - I don't mind battery power and the lack of atomic synch, but I am disappointed in its basic functionality...
With your ongoing jelly binge, you might be excited to hear about this, Velorum:

My God that looks amazing. Not a very useful post, I know, but a honest one. Hopefully Casio put out a model *just* like that (and without the BT BS if at all possible), and they're guaranteed to...
Yeah, that's a great look right there. I'm still on the fence as to which 35th anniversary model I should get, and you haven't made my choice any easier ...
Very refreshing to see it on the wrist, too, I believe all other pictures of it I've seen have been in the box waiting to be stashed away - congratulations, S.L., enjoy your awesome watch.
I know, it's a crazy good looking watch, it came out way nicer and more special than the DW-5735D - I like the "normal" DW-5750 reissue (which I do own) much better actually. It's funny by the way...
I think that's it, yes. I haven't seen it in person, the Casio importer for Slovenia hasn't received a single example, but I read in a couple of reviews, and seen in some pictures, that the LCD of...
The 5035D looks amazing, I keep thinking I should get one even though it's a bit out of my typical price range (and I've spent my watch budget for a couple of months in advance anyway).
The mirror...
Is this an actual Giro tie-in? G-central only says "limited edition", and I'm not very familiar with the Frogman range.
Well, now they've got Bluetooth they can communicate, and of course they've had sensors for a long time, and a means of deriving energy from the environment - but unless they develop a way of moving...
Yes, these are lovely and not unreasonably expensive. The 5700 model (I half-regred not waiting for this and going for the non-screwback 5750, well it's too late now) and the Frogman are also part of...
Are you familiar with the MR-G, MT-G and GST lines? At least they're all steel or titanium so you don't have to worry about any wild colours, though you may still find most of them a bit outrageous.
Yes, it does happen. For example (this isn't a typical example, but still), they offer this remote-control watch and for a very long time, they also had the DBC-150 listed - I don't think either of...
Do any of you G-shock fans have pictures of caseback characters (Frogman, Moleman, Antman etc.) collected in one place, or know of a web resource that does? I really love the style of these and I'm...
Showing off my custom GLX-5500 with an Alife G-5500 bezel and a generic G-5500 strap. I'm super happy with how it came out - the GLX with the most functionality completely tamed down, with only the...
