I've been drinking a Finlaggan Old Reserve this week. It's peaty and a little smokey but with a lovely sweet finish.

If I was buying for me, the Nikka would be a good call (or see my previous post on another). As aldfort says though, you need to define what type of flavours you like.

Gordon and MacPhail Bunnahabhain 2006... What a cracking bottle and at a reasonable price.

Ah the Laphroaigs in particular are a little heavy, but that's part of the charm.
