Never had this watch on my radar, but now that I have seen the video: gaaah, they are so pretty! And if the dial and case would not have been enough, no, there also has to be a wonderful caseback!...

36 too small? 38 too big? The size should, of course, be 37mm. I'm serious.
I just got myself a Baltic Aquascaphe in 39mm, nice, not too big. Lug to lug 47mm, 12mm height. My Rado Golden Horse...
Dial, hands and size are beautiful, lugs are horrible. And please, after several 36mm watches with 18mm lug width, give us another 36mm watch with 20mm lug width.
We should probably start getting used to quality japanese movements, since it is becoming increasingly difficult to source swiss movements...
I'm one of those. Yes, the boobies could be gone, the 5-min markers could be thicker, the seconds hand could be thinner, and the sun could shine brighter on some days. After seeing the prototype I...
Beautiful, simply beautiful!
The watch will look a stunner whatever logo is used, of course, but for me, I think a very good choice would have been the "boobies without boobies", as seen on the SMITHS 'Black Shadow' PRS-38....
Both straps look very good on the watch, imho, and I would just keep switching after my mood and clothing. If it has to be one, all black is more versatile.
comment deleted by myself :)
I wonder if the new minute hand is not only a bit shorter, but also a smidgen wider than the old one.
If I order next time the shop opens, will I get automatically from this last batch with the adjusted hand lenghts? Can't wait to get my grubby paws on one of those...
I love hand crankers, but seeing ETA's politics of limiting access to movements and parts, I voted Miyota.
I prefer a watch my local watchmaker will be able to service for many years to come,...
Yes, it is armoured crystal. I am living in Germany and had mine replaced by a local jeweller with a generic armoured acrylic crystal, domed, costs were 30,- EUR work included.
I once shattered a crystal, my wife another, both from surprisingly unspectacular bumps, both crystals were neither acrylic nor sapphire, but mineral. I bought a Railmaster Aqua Terra that has a...
Lug width, please consider to make it 20mm. We had that discusson with the second reissue of the Smith Military, and there, for more consistency with the original and the first reissue, for many it...
My guess is that folks like me, who for better looks are willing to suffer through a little work in buffing out scratches of acrylic now and then, we're just a little more tolerant, looking at the...
Oh my, I'm another one that needs both variants.

The font on the old Omega looks fantastic!

Since the hands are not lumed, I think it would look better if the dial was also not lumed.

Well, its a different watch, it could be called "PRS-29c", then its like an DB6 :)
Tomas
That would be really great!

The lug width shown in the posted picture is 18mm. If I was skilled in photoshop, I could show one with 20mm. Sorry.

Think of the Ex 1016. 20mm will give the watch a more masculine look. I own a Seiko Spirit Military (SBCA001), 36 with 20mm lugs, imho its not overpowering, but has some heft.
This is soooo AWESOME! 20mm lugs on the 29A. Oh, the wait is already killing me, and this morning I didn't even know about this...
I bought a 29a a few weeks ago, put it down for one day, and my...
