Couldn’t really say, looks like the Bond St. Boutique in your pics going by the carpet :p
It would’ve been sold up via an AD up here if I was buying it (once they’ve re-opened)
Blancpain wanted...
You like Pam’s though :P
Although Pam’s work, in that 911 way the old design cues are there without looking old.
Not sure the AC would work for me with my penchant for ugly as sin strap combos...
I got the call last week (or text) that my watch was on it’s way from Switzerland, but ultimatly decided to pass on Friday.
(Been trying to get them to allocate it to a fellow TZ’er, but they have a...
Just a heads up, Guys at Chisholm in Edinburgh have let me know they may have a free Barakuda if any one is interested.
Upside they now make a longer 20mm Sailcloth for the 40mm case, took some back and forth with Blancpain last year but it now exists :)
Hopefully the production tropic comes in a sensible size!
Not a problem at all, I tried to get as many pics as possible in varying light, but photos can only tell so much.
Funnily enough I think 42 would be the FF's sweet spot in size, I have a seiko...
Differences of opinon are good, otherwise we'd all be be clamouring at AD's for the same watches lol :eagerness:
The way I look at it is, the new Barakuda is a nice moderised re-reissue of the...
Admitedely, the rotor did make me sigh, its a bit gash and i'd prefer something simple, upside you can't see it when it's on the wrist lol, and they make up for it by the semi-skeletonized gears...
update with some more pics from the weekend playing with the prototypes,
there's more pics on instagram since it's the easiest way to dump pics off my phone, than trying to link every pic.
...
Forgot to mention the 45/15 markers are the opposite way round as its a countdown timer which I believe is more useful for pilots/artillery than the count up/elapsed time bezels of dive watches.
...
Bi-directional friction bezel, so there’s no clicks.
I put a pic up on instagram, just not had time to upload the rest of the Barakuda prototype pics i took.

They’re very similar, but stylistically...
A couple of wrist shots taken this weekend,
The Air Command is a winner in my books :)

I paid for the Milspec in full when it was announced.
Admitedly this was more of a gamble to avoid bexit related price fluctuation.
Ahhh The Milspec strap saga...
Short version is, the Milspec’s sailcloth is super short (almost as if it was intended to have a deployant clasp)
I don’t exactly have large wrists and i was on...
£10.8k is what i was told this morning when I was chasing it up.
(£300 more than the Milspec was if IIRC)
The strap is cool too, hopefully it comes in human and size and not for a 4” wrist, lol
Hopefully should have a Barakuda incoming to join my Milspec.
Only annoyance is... why didn't they put the date at 3, and add the coin edge bezel to the Milspec :(
