If, let’s say Mido, had done this design nobody would have given it any attention. A very generic attempt in launching a new diver.

Agreed.
Shame there's no sapphire window for 499,- Euro's (RRP).
Quite like it though.
I like it, but that La Joux Perret movement (owned by Citizen) is, by the looks of it, a Miyota 9015 with fine regulator.
That green one is rather lovely.
You yawn away son, I wouldn't expect otherwise.
But that's a Seiko, when Rolex changes some colours and dials it's big news ;)
It probably does run well, but if you use an independent for your service or regulating they can be a pain in the arse to regulate without a fine adjuster.
That's why I'm not keen on watches with that movement.
German Mike is an ex policeman who thinks he still has to do his duty. I didn't like that man at all, only kind when you agreed with him. Never looked back when I left WUS all those years ago.
:drunk::witless:
Really? Great story, I only noticed because of the post, but just the thing for WUS to get excited about!
Blue version for me Earl, same problem with the eyes here ;)
I once owned a Guinand, top quality for a sensible price, I'll look them up again, didn't know they were still going after the death of Helmut Sinn.
Damasko do better tool watches, not my cuppa.
A lovely timeless design I could wear as my only watch for a long time.
As for the price.....
I agree, and it's not about perfect accuracy for me when wearing a mechanical watch, wear quartz instead. Comparing with a Tudor? No contest, bland designs and only their Rolex link keeps people...
That´s rather lovely, nice size as well.
