220mm here, but it's not clear if the 19mm are just out of stock, or never actually made...!

Yes indeed on the higher end ones - I've found a few now that visually seem quite expensive for what they are, but it could be that the devil is in the detail of those, and (hopefully) material...
Cousins! Very good call, I'll have a look there.
The favourite strap I mentioned in the OP could well be a Hirsch actually, the stamp has faded a lot, but it would fit with what is barely visible....
Morning TZ,
The standard 80/120mm straps are just too long for my wrist, with my most comfortable strap being 70/110 excluding buckle. I cannot find a decent selection of other sizes anywhere. It...
My money's on it being a parcel that was supposed to be delivered by Hermes, but last year.
Understated elegance. I was admiring that ever since Dunk posted it, it's a lovely thing.
Done.
The WG GMT Master 2 is the only other I can think of, again the bracelet is what would give it away
Running shoes are like watches in terms of needs, likes, dislikes, but even more so given the damage unsuitable ones can do to you!
What sort of running do you do (distance, surface etc.) and...
My old 70s Longines Five Star Admiral has the pusher date, but fortunately it's just part of the main crown, no additional crown needed. I wonder why they have gone with a separate crown for that on...

I think you've kind of answered your own question - they're available, but at places/prices you don't want to buy. I assume they've lots of stock as they're easy to sell to.
A lovely catch!
First result for me for that product code was ao.com
Out of stock at present and priced higher than JL, but they're often very competitive and I've only ever had brilliant service from them.
It's...
They do price match certain other shops, so worth hunting around
Hats off to them - they know they can, and therefore they do it with no harm done. It's just aimed at folk with substantial disposable income to have a watch fan/Hodinkee flag on their coffee tables...
Absolutely with Mycroft on this - that is appalling treatment by CJR. So they have both your money and your watch?
Thank you all for providing your experiences with these - it certainly doesn't sound positive from a CS standpoint, especially when combined with the issues some have experienced with the watches...
Afternoon TZ,
Snowman's post in the Friday thread has got me rather interested in CJR's wares: https://monochrome-watches.com/cjr-watches-airspeed-review-value-proposition-price/
Any user...
Love the aggressive case lugs there, and all that lume. The script for the date looks really interesting too - much more detailed than usual.
Is the lume as potent as it looks, or does it fade...

I can't help but feel you're projecting onto the new members Raj - maybe, they just don't like the watch?
Thank you for taking the time to post the movement image. Hopefully Bremont will correct the description.

Oh so is that what it is at 2 o'clock? I thought it might be a screw down chrono pusher, but a helium escape valve does totally fit with it not actually being a chronograph.
Disappointing! I had...
It says it has a chronograph movement. Where are the registers? If it's a central minutes totaliser then that's really something to announce, but the hand looks like a seconds hand.
Looks to also...
