Well, only £5 down...
You're welcome! Glad to hear that it worked out well.
They are OK. They are solid brass, either polished or nickel plated. I've had a brass one in daily use for about 5 years and it still looks brand new.
Jasper Highet - hand made oak tanned leather. They are superb!

Just bought the VEO case. £19.95 off Amazon. Nice and slim and seems just as good quality as the OEM ones from Apple.
Australian Labradoodles - it's what they were bred for.
I have one of their Military Grey ones with polished hardware. It looks the dog's doodahs when matched up with the polished sides on my Smiths Everest. Surprisingly they are heat welded, but without...
Take a look at the ones from Tungchoy/Strapcode. They are the correct Admiralty grey colour and I find them much softer and more comfortable than the Phoenix ones. They are my second favourite after...
I thought that you'd made a rather fine pun on www. Never mind!
I see what you did there!

I agree, but not for £100.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I gave him the list and at the moment he is zooming in on the Seikos and Pulsars.
However, now that I have got him away from high...

A colleague wants to get a G10 style watch from his kids for...
That's a fair point.
Instead of all that quartz stuff, how about a nice vintage style mechanical chronograph? What about the Seagull 1963 re-issue, available from 'trusthonestman' (yes, really!) on eBay? It's right...
Well I don't know about your exact set up, but I have something similar - an ordinary Siemens DSL modem wired up to my Samsung smart TV using Powerline adapters.
It works a treat; in my...
Looks wonderful! Am I right that those are the hands from a Kemmner Bundeswehr chronograph?
Very good. I have certainly noticed that you colonial chaps do not infrequently misunderstand our use of subtlety, irony and double negatives.
That's right - it's just a leather 3-ring NATO. Mind you, the spring bars are quite a tight gap on a CWC diver, so you must get one with very thin leather. The tip on this one was a bit of a wiggle...
Heh heh - desk divers 'R' us!
Thanks! It's from Jacob Straps in Spain.
I love mine. Didn't realise that they were so popular on TZ.

Seiko Sawtooth is another option, but a bit hard to find.
