I couldn't live with the thruxton riding positon so bought a Speed twin then upgraded the suspension front and back to K-Tech, got a power commander and a custom map made so its fuels properly and...
The front suspension is utter garbage as well, it's well worth upgrading that too.
I think the Thruxton looks better but I just can't do the hunched over riding position for any length of time these days, I've modified the Speed Twin quite heavily though and am happy with it now
The money you save on the Speed Twin over the Thruxton you can just upgrade the suspension, I put K-tech front and back on mine for about 2k and had it professionally set up for my weight and riding...
Might be worth a look

Try the Speed Twin it's just a more comfortable Thruxton basically.
Is it the same model or a downgraded new version that will be 14k?

I tried to buy a CCM flat tracker once but the Salesman was utterly useless, just ignored direct questions and went off on his own little journey in each email, I've dealt with more professional 18...
I bought a Shoei transitional Visor last summer, it's brilliant, on overcast days it just tints slightly and the more light you get the darker it goes, obviously at night it's completely clear.

I had a test ride on the New Monster at the weekend, I was very impressed, very light and flick-able and you'd have no problem...
Agreed it's definitely a smarter idea to let people rise the ranks of bhp gradually
I remember when sticking a sidewinder with L plates on any bike legally transformed it into a Trike and you...
Yep I forgot how complicated getting a full license is these days, best feeling ever as a biker getting to throw the L plates away, a great right of passage for a young guy
Well done to your Son, he seemed very committed, I knew he'd pass
Right then what's on his short list of new bikes?
I think it's going to rain most of the weekend in true bank holiday style, was looking forward to a ride to.
They look to be the same mirrors as on my Speed Twin

Yes I have one, they are superb for getting all the water out of places it would just sit and possibly cause corrosion, makes drying the bike a fairly quick affair too.
This new V4 Multistrada is on my radar for next Summer

Diagnostics port for dealer to use
Try a really light weight full face helmet, takes a huge amount of strain off of your neck
Makes the bike run a bit rich, you'll notice how black the exhaust tips get not long after using it
I've run a Booster plug in the past, it will smooth things out but it will decrease the performance a little I found, remap or power commander is the best solution.
