Hot damn, thatīs crisp!!!
I wasn't aware of how few ladies watches have lume. That seems to be the tough part...
Have you looked at Tissot's, Certina's, or Mido's current ladies models?
Should be plenty of choices between these three brands.
The PRS-22's crystal only has a very slight dome to it. From most angles it appears flat.
A couple years ago I had a leather nato strap made by Steveo.
He was very easy to deal with, and for a bespoke strap the price was quite reasonable.
Here's a link to some stock straps:...
Wondering if this would work better with a 38 mm case and 20 mm lugs?
Imho, the 556i is a bit more refined and versatile while I consider the SBIII more toolish. I'd also give the 556i a slight edge in terms of case and dial finishing over the SBIII.
Sinn's sapphire...
Obviously no date window on the dial, but does the movement still have the date mechanism and the "ghost date" position of the crown?
^^^^ This would be very welcome :coolskull:
Maybe there's room for both models? Not that many affordabe center minute chronos around....
This! I've always been enamored with the old mock-up featuring the X-33 case and the. Would love to see a concept of this design as basis for consideration as well.
I own the original PRS-17C but...
German manufacturer Kaufmann also does a wide variety of straps in 115/75 mm length.
Glad to be of assistance. That is a good looking strap, would have been a shame to bin it. ;-)
Are you positive that you're dealing with mold?
Judging from the picture, the strap might be made of oil tanned leather (just a guess, I could be wrong).
What can happen with oil tanned leather is...
I am a fan of the two-piece Eulit Perlon straps. They're tough, breathable, washable, super adjustable, and dry quickly when they get wet.
The big advantage over regular one-piece straps is that...
If you like your dress watches a bit on the larger side, take a look at the Eterna Legacy 1948 models.
These come with a variety of movements and dial colors on straps or bracelet.
The discounted...
Seiko had a similar idea for their vintage M77 Sea Lion model, which featured lume on the underside of the hands as well as on the back of the indices.

I bought my SBNN007 in 2009 when this model was discontinued and the following generation of Tunas like the SBBN015 was introduced.
The only "service" it has had since then was a new battery and...
I don't think Seiko state a specific recommended service interval for the 7C46 caliber. As mentioned above, as long as the movement doesn't develop any signs of irregularities, I wouldn't worry about...
I suppose much of the 5513 appeal comes from the acrylic crystal - understandably so. A competent watch technician can convert most watches from mineral or sapphire to an acrylic crystal. In the past...
A local Seiko AD should be able to replace the battery for you quite easily and for a reasonable fee.
If you're inclined to do some moderate tinkering yourself, here's a DIY tutorial:

The Globemaster name is currently used by Omega, so that would be rather problematic.
The Miyota movements have the advantage of being slimmer than the Seiko calibers, which would allow the case...
Very sharp! :nevreness:
Very true, I think these were less common? Personally, I still find that the lumend versions work better.
I suppose a 38 mm case would look well-proportioned with 20 mm lug-width.
Could a...
