My The Citizen CTQ57-9054 which I am possibly thinking of selling to fund a grail. Such a fabulous watch!

Previously, I have owned two Grand Seikos - SBGX061 and 063. Beautiful watches, but I felt the case shape to be a bit off. Currently, I own this:

SBGV009,...
I have two currently, The Citizen Chronomaster CTQ57-1201 and CTQ57-0952:

I especially like the 1201, being a bit of a dressier model with a wonderfully detailed...
All in all it took about two weeks. First, I waited some three days for the auction to end, then it took four more for the watch to arrive at their headquarters. You enter what kind of package and...
Have you heard about zenmarket.jp? It's a great postal service in Japan. You buy a watch from Yahoo Auctions or Rakuten via their website, the watch is shipped to their headquarters, and they then...
Thank you for posting this, it was a really pleasant read. I enjoyed the fact that to me, it seemed like these watches were bought for the sake of theirselves and not because internet forums think...
For the electric blue model you have I'd say yours is more sought after than the black model, so the price differential would be on your side. Not much, probably a hundred or so.
Seems seriously awesome, one of the better chronos of the past years. Though I must say that I prefer the calibre 18 telemetre, even cleaner vintage styling imo :)
I really like the watch on leather, in my opinion the white dial really needs somethibg warmer and softer. The red-ish leather works fine for that contrast.
Been wearing animal skins since the invention of even some tools, so I would say it's part of our primitive nature by now. Maybe kinda like how everyone likes fishing because it fulfills our hunting...
I currently have three plus a Casio beater: An Omega Seamaster from 1969, an Omega Speedmaster Professional, and a Citizen Chronomaster HAQ. The Omegas I will never sell: the Seamaster was originally...
Underrated? I wouldn't say so, particularly if talking about watch forums - there was a time when one couldn't have a recommendation thread without an AT Skyfall showing up in the first posts! ;)

All kinds of used Grand Seiko and Citizen Chronomaster quartz watches would be my preference in this price bracket. Absolutely beautiful finishing and quality for the price :)

As a part of a collection, I prefer manuals instead of automatics. It's just a laziness thing - I really like first setting the correct time, then winding the watch to a full wind before putting it...
Myself, I find the movement beautiful both in design and execution, but the dial leaves something to be desired. It's simple, minimalistic, subdued... but also a tad boring, perhaps? This is of...

My Citizen Chronomaster. Titanium, immaculately finished, immensely wearable at 37mm and under a centimetre thick - it's a keeper.
My favourites this year were perhaps the Grand Seiko "reissues" and the new Nomos Club Neomatiks. That the Grand Seikos were absolutely mesmerizing was nothing new to me, as I've been ogling their...
I have to say I would love to own one of these for real, if just for the colour scheme. Makes the otherwise basic black diver look a bit more adventurous :p
Thank you for such a full-packed and informative post! Really excellent photos :) It's especially nice to see some models I had missed from articles, like the Aqua Terra world timer.
While I otherwise really like the Black Bay, I find it a tad too thick and large for daily wear. The mirror-polished slab sides really make it seem bigger than it is. On the fabric strap, I find the...
120 watches, holy cow. Even the idea of selling so many watches seems daunting. Quite the task you had!
As for the watches you own now, I really like them. Simple, legible and good for all kinds...
I would recommend the chronograph - the size just looks a bit better on the wrist shots :) Especially if I think you wearing it with a suit, it would maybe seem more appropriate. The again, the...
The chrono pushers were a big surprise, imo. Some new chronograph watch altogether? The bezel looked a bit odd, I dunno, not very Rolex-y. Mysterious, to say the least.
Looks very nice. The new Planet Oceans were a home run in the lug to lug measurement - look at that end link, it goes effectively right downward! Most watches have the effective lug to lug much...
1700 quid sounds very reasonable to me. In Scandinavia, mint used examples tend to go at around the 2000 quid mark. Was the watch in good shape, that is, no dings in the AR of the crystal or such?
