If a Rolex sport model was easily available it wouldn’t be so desirable for a number of those on the lists I suspect.
But yes, it would be easy enough to upscale production I’d have thought if...
I’d have thought he’d have wanted to have a chat if there was no one else in the shop. Must be boring as sin sitting waiting around all day.
Tetris. Watched it last night and it’s an excellent film. I quite liked Matthew Marsh as Gorbachev, but the story itself kept me hooked.
I watched Killers of the flower moon recently. A very long film, but it didn’t feel it.
It’s a very interesting story that I wasn’t aware of before.
I’ve been dipping back into some classics recently. The French Connection (and French Connection 2). One of those occasions where the sequel is as good if not better than the original.
Best wishes Eddie. Hope you have a Speedy recovery!
I found myself toying with a work salary sacrifice electric X1 in a quiet period of time on Friday. Circa £400 per month essentially all in (insurance, maintenance etc). I can see the draw for many...
I watched Falling Down for the first time in a long time. Great film.
Not quite up to the standards of Rise of the foot soldier 27, but great none the less 😁
Fingers firmly crossed Eddie.
I managed just the one this last year and that was a cheap one. I suspect I could abstain in 2023. Lost interest for a bit and really craving to get the feeling for wanting one again though.
I really liked Jake Hill’s approach throughout the season, but what a nice guy Tom Ingram comes across as!
Smokehead is £23.50 on Amazon at the mo.
Smokey, heavily peated single malt, and at the money, it's superb.
Perfectly summed up.
I quite liked Toronto too.
It’s a film I have watched more than once, and I always enjoy it.
I have a similar view. I’ve taken a fairly long break from watches of late as I started to lose interest when value became the only thing of relevance to many.
We had 47 hours of power outage, lost a small tree and a couple of fence panels.
It’s rather blowy out there now too, so have my fingers crossed that’s all that we have go wrong.
Could be a lot...
I saw P555 OFF on an Astra quite recently which made me chuckle, and there's a couple of Merc Sprinters running BO55 MAT and MAT 80S.
I think Ozark is great. Well written, and I like the dark edgy feel to the filming too.
I would have no choice but to do that realistically.
Sometimes you don’t think through the implications of a question you ask as I keep coming back to them!
Those are absolutely beautiful looking knives. Certainly more than I was looking to spend but blimey I’ve gone back to them a few times now.
As for the dishwasher, I completely agree. I’m just...
You’ve tasted my wife’s cooking then? Boom boom.
Some good tips here - thanks all!
I need some steak knives to replace what remains of a cheap set I’ve had for 20 years (handles have broken off all but two).
Had a quick look around and there are plenty of choices but while...
Mind you, there was a curious article I read a few weeks back questioning if SPA should actually rise, as Covid’s had the impact of reducing average life expectancy.
I'm in the weird (for me) position of not really being all that bothered about even wearing a watch at all at the moment.
I bought a couple of relatively cheap watches last year to try to rekindle...
