Or maybe, just maybe, lots of people on the forum are the type of watch enthusiasts who understand that 36mm is a great size for a classically designed dress watch.
A 38mm Nomos is far from dinky. In fact, it wears far larger and it has very little to do with it's lug to lug length.
The Baby Speedbird is a lovely watch. The caseback sits and connects so nicely on the wrist. The bracelet is lovely, but beware that it has no micro adjusts or half links.
I do really like the looks of these, but I think 46.5 mm is a bit long for a 38mm dress watch. 36 mm diameter and 44 - 45 mm lug length would be stunning.
The change to a 45mm lug to lug is a big improvement and pretty much spot on for a 38mm watch. Thanks for taking the suggestion on board.

Personally, I think both of these alternatives would be way more inconvenient and frustrating for customers.
The problem with deployant clasps in general, is that they're quite dependent on three variables.
1) Wrist size.
2) The length of the short side of the strap in question.
3) How long the clasp...
if the strap and deployant is too tight or too loose, then punch a new buckle hole into the strap. I do this all of the time with mine.
It's worth the wait!
With deployant clasps, you can sometimes get a better fit by flipping it the other way around.
