Both Monaco Watches and Uhrentrader have got good reviews and responded to my queries promptly. The only issue I guess post-brexit is the extra taxes I imagine that are involved.
Yep looks like the same issue on the 41mm. Quite a shame as I like this watch alot.

The 41mm day date review also appears to be up now: https://youtu.be/w5i4xVvwE7Q

Hafiz has done a great video review of this here. Love the macro shots, but dodgy bracelet clasp.

I always quite facied the Zenith Elite Captain Moonphase. Can be had for a bit of a bargain price too:

An in house movement has to serve a purpose.
If I came up with a great idea for a watch dial design with a bunch of apertures that I wanted dotted around the place, then it's going to be very...
This one has been available for some time (Just without the bracelet):

Interestingly its £25k more than the steel version, and if you look at the difference between the new steel submariner date and the white gold version, that's about 25k difference too.

Hey everyone.
As Coronavirus hit I'm sure we have all come to do something to ease the lockdown madness. I started a new blog, www.maltese-cross.com which is basically an ad-free site run on a...
It wears quite large on the bracelet, but not so large on the leather that it can't be a modern dress watch replacement. Perfect in every way for me.
I apologise profusely. [emoji16]

Just worth a note that I bought my VC Overseas from these guys new at £12,500. Worked out well, nice to deal with, and saved a fortune.

Overseas on leather for me. Loving this only watch malarkey. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200211/1e0641743f5dbaffd070e92822cc3d62.jpg

Easily the Vacheron for me - and can be picked up closer to £13k new on C24.
I have to second the above. I absolutely adore the CDV, and has been a grail of mine for years. But if you can afford the steel one at RRP, you should buy the Datograph in SC instead.
Bought by you? If so congrats!

New Seadweller 43mm two tone in the window of merry hill goldsmiths.

I just hate the date window on it, as it just feels lop sided. The 82172 Paris edition is the one to get.

Just worth mentioning after a previous reply here, that I have two SKXs. My black bezel version is a K variant and has an aligned chapter ring. My orange dial SKX is a J variant and has chapter ring...
My pleasure.
1573/897 is what you want. I bought mine off eBay "new" for £300 when I used to have my 41mm Railmaster.
Hey chaps and chapesses.
I was listening to the Scottish Watches podcast and they discussed that there is a watch fair in Rugby in November this year. I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way...
Anyone else loving the fact that some of the press photos dont have the bezels aligned? Gotta love a good chapter ring alignment issue otherwise it's not a true Seiko.
