A properly fitting metal bracelet shouldn't cause trouble tho, if you have the clearance that is.

Expansions are all over tv and movies, once you start looking you'll see 'em.
I know dozens of people that wear them daily, too.

There's a reason expansion bands were produced for many, many decades: people wore them, they wore them until they wore out, and they bought another to wear.
Not all expansions were created equal....

interesting strap, but looks a bit short for you? seems the keeper will slip off the tail easily...and often...would drive me bonkers!

AFAIK there are no remaining factories in Ireland producing thread.

Yes: it's a friction-fit onto the splines.
Been hoping to get the original replacement part before resorting to having one made, as it would be nice to have it match exactly.
