I hope they don't replace the "Fish" crown......
I loved Breitling and IWC. Unfortunately, they both went downhill and became the wannabe brand under Georges Kern's commandership.....Truely shame....
I second that.
If that's what she wants then that she wants. You go and get it.
The cheapest Emirates flight to Tokyo is around £1,000 so add hotel & expenditures etc.....I'd say £1,500 in total ?????
I can't think of watch price but I think it's a doable and win-win if your...
It depends on the price of watch and location in Japan but it may well be cheaper or perhaps break even if you jump on next Emirates flight to Tokyo, buy watch with tax-free and fly home….
Not relating to watch movement but....Imagine if VW made a watch movement....It would perform impeccably on test.....
I bet all money you pay end up in advertising/marketing budget. Not for actual cost of steel and brass.
I see F1 racing and all I can see is ”ROLEX” on circuit……TAG on the timing and Red...
Oh yes, I saw the new IWC Ingeniur, too. I thought it's a rather nice watch until I saw the price tag......£10,500
I almost peed in my pants....
That's even better !
Exactly, they'll send you pre-paid envelope and box after one single telephone call. I can then drop it off at the nearest post office which is 5 mins walk from home, instead of 15 min drive, park...
I always send my watch to the manufacturer's service centre directly....Never ever send it via AD.

But, it will collect a lot of ding from hitting door handle, table, wall etc…..
Soz for such a noob question but why this is called 747 edition ?
So glad there was no internet, nor watch forum back in 1868. Imagine an American dude trying to set up a watch company in Switzerland and the company he wants call it the “International Watch...
It may not be your taste but I've been to one of their shop in Omotesando while I was there.....

I absolutely adore the watch but can't justify the price tag.....
+3
How about "Nomos Orion" if 2nd hand is acceptable.....
There are few in Chrono24.
Do you think the outlet sell the rejected watches(re-worked, warranty, online etc) or NOS ?
Oh is it with the display back ? Has IWC ditched the anti-magnetic casing ?
Nice watch though !
It suits you perfectly.....Enjoy !
I do love many IWC watches except those mainly produced during George Kern regime.
It was him who transformed IWC from an engineering minded hardcore watch manufacturer to a fashion paparazzi watch...
I really like the dial without the date window and simplicity of the dial and the case.
But not so sure about this new strap system and the lug width of 21mm.....
OMG....
George Kern's leadership all over the place....
