Right, spotting a rebrushing I can understand, what had me perplexed is being able to determine whether the watch had been refinished with a lapping machine or not.
I recently saw in a sales thread that the seller said there was no evidence of rebrushing or refinishing with a lapping maching. Rebrushing I can understand, but is there a way to tell if a watch has...

Actually with the Z-33's similar shaped case I was wondering if lapping worked on titanium too as well as laser welding if the nicks are too deep? Not enough Z-33s...

This is really amazing! The watches do look as good as new. I heard that STS now have a lapping machine but apparently don't use yet as some people prefer to send back their watches to Omega Bienne...
