Very interesting thread. I recently was looking at a watch the same age as me Birth year. I had two I had my eye on. One being a Seamaster and the other being one Boosty was selling a Heuer Autavia....

I always had Seiko in the past 3 over the last 20 years. Always been reliable and always been a decent all round watch. It's only later in life I am looking for that bit extra in mechanical watches...
