Thanks for your reply. I actually like my Smiley Black Bay and it's size as my Sporty Diver. I also like the idea that it was only out for a short period of time and hence some degree of scarcity
I've been away from watch forums and the watch scene for a few years. However for the past monthI've been getting the itch for a new watch.
I like watches that can be worn daily. I dont dive or do...
Stunning pics. Stunning watches.
Do you still own the ETA 41 smiley?

I've been out of the watch game for a few years but have noticed a watch that I admired some time ago...the Aquatimer chrono 3719.

I'm fortunate to own both the SubC and the Exp 2. I only bought my Sub C 2 weeks ago and its a lovely watch. I did own the SubC date but flipped it.
I got my Exp 2 probably about 18-24 months ago...
My new arrival

Great post as always. Thanks
Great post. Thanks
You've too much time on your hands Wayne. Very well done and thanks
No own goal
Rolex are in the business of selling watches and no doubt they'll continue to sell many.
No doubt values of older SDs will remain as prices for the new watches continue to rise. Resale...
Would have loved to see the Black Bay in black with vintage dial
Very disappointed with the Ranger. The bracelet and red second hand cheapens the look of the watch to me
I love both cases and maybe the sportier fat lugs a little more. However the more solid bracelet in the new model swings it for me, although that's another topic of debate
