I never undo my hook straps, never seen the need and don't see it as being a problem. They've easily my favourite fabric strap.

Really like this, the lume works really well with the ti case.
Much. Something very false about them.
I'm liking this watch a lot, be interested to see a few more shots from owners.
Looks nicer in your pictures than it does on the Steinhart website.
Really wish more manufactures (especially web based ones) would use more real world pictures, they're often better than the...
I like that, interesting tip on the position of the stopped second hand too.
Like the white with green bezel.

Not sure I like it enough to buy one...
Not only are the ads disruptive they're oddly random, on most sites I get targeted ads for things I've searched. Lego and a home furnishings store in caterham on here....
Yeah, you'll not being...
That's a handsome watch, I get the feeling I've fallen down a rabbit hole with these, the case shape and size is near perfect and the range available could see things getting expensive. I've not got...
Looks good on the strap, I've tried mine on a nato but I'll have to dig out a sailcloth to try.
Agree on the clasp, I'd ditch the divers extension in a heartbeat if I could. I've read that the...

This thread is dangerous, I hadn't seen one of these until last week and now thanks to 100thmonkey I own one!

I didn't know that, I worded my post badly too. What I meant was I'd buy an original, vintage watch fitted with a 5100.
Looks cool but for that price I'd be buying a 5100 powered original..
They're great looking watches, since seeing the white one at the weekend I've been reading up on the range. I quite fancy the black dialed one too...
I don't need more watches.....or do I?
Is pre comex a thing?
None of their stock grabs me as being good vfm, that might be because I'm tight and out of touch with prices. Or it might not.
Thank you.
I'm quite taken by that.
That's really nice, what's the model number please?
I like that, I can live without a date, the deletion of pcl is a massive plus, they're just too flashy and impractical for me.
The Triton Subphotique, I've looked at the one on sc a dozen times, I can't afford it, I don't really like the case shape and I know it won't suit my wrist but I want it knowing the second it arrived...
I quite like the blue and green, the other two I'm less sure on. The colours look wrong to my eyes.
I really like the look of the U50, the dial and hands are super legible, decent size, not too thick and from what I've seen on here it suits a variety of straps.
I might have to move a couple on...
No idea on discounts or if their machines are adequately spec'd but I've used

Nice watch, the Japanese market has seen some really interesting releases over the years, nice to see them on here from time to time.
Isn't the most logical explanation for describing a manual as an automatic just clerical error? That seems more likely than not recognising the difference.
I want the black version but I'm drawn to the silver bezel one based on those photos.
Maybe both?
That's an awesome looking watch. Green is an underused colour but so striking against the black dial.
