It was a watch which always made me smile when I wore it - but for some reason I let it go ...
Could be fraught with disappointment. Why don't you put your existing watch up for sale and use the funds to acquire something you're going to bond with? This may be a better route.
I wear most watches on Natos, with the exception of those which come with superlative bracelets, (IMHO in any case). I haven't done the Nato thing with any of the following for this reason:
PRS-21...
So 250 posts in 8 years so time to make 10,000 posts ....
Hmmm - guess I won't be listening to the full orchestra then.
:o)
Yes - there it is 250!
Right - now I can put all my watches up for sale ...
Oh hang on - I'm a keeper - not a flipper!
:o)
Been a member since 2011 and am only just approaching 250!
In fact this post might actually take me to 250 - what a 'sprinter' eh!?
I know - but I like to see the best in people. Everything pointed to him being legitimate; Ebay history, communications, speaking to him over the phone, the fact that he has a clock restoration...
So am I Mark - and as he turned out to be legit I won't be naming.
One last parting shot on this thread for all owners of Legend Divers out there - check that the case back discloses a serial number. According to Longines all LLDs should disclose one, and as in my...
... and I can now end this quite stressful tale, (for me in any case). as I have now received a full refund - Hallelujah!
As it turns out the seller was totally on the level, as suggested by his...
Yep - I've got my fingers crossed!
Nothing yet.
Just received this from the seller:
Hi Tom
I am away for weekend. But have had neighbours collect parcel.
You will be refunded by Sunday evening no problem.
Thanks for message about serial...
:o)
It was back in March!!!
:o)
Cheers Mark. You're right - it's very frustrating.
However I drove a Ferrari, an Aston Martin and a Lamborghini around 3 sisters this morning, (birthday present from the wife), so that helped...
I certainly hope so!
i don't want to mention any names until I have this sorted out. There may be a genuine reason for the current total lack of response to my communications. Some members have already located the...
I know.
Communications with him were not a problem when I was buying the watch ...
Probably trying to see if there is any mark he can pin on me! :o)
Or working out why he advertised it as 'unworn' and 'as new' when the case back obviously had signs of wear - and a lack of a...
Yes - that's exactly what I did. Ebay won't step in until the 5th and have assured me I will be refunded one way or another, however the lack of response to my communications by the seller is very...
Hmmm - had no communication from the seller. He received the returned watch 2 days ago. So far no response to my emails.
I am covered by Ebay but hope it doesn't have to come to this.
Have a look at Creation Watches, (Singapore) or City Watches if you want to buy from the UK. Both have deals on Orient watches at the moment and you can't really go wrong with a Mako or Ray. Also...
Thanks.
Hasn't put me off - just now on hold until after I get my hands on a PRS-21.
Quick update on this purchase. Watch has been sent back, the seller received it yesterday, (around noon), and I am now awaiting a refund.
Longines also replied to my email yesterday, (took them...
