I think the patina is lovely...stay with it! :)

Welcome to the forum! Really digging that Seamaster Cosmic...very unique.

Welcome Darren! Looking forward to reading about your watches...

Wow...how elegant! Was totally unaware of this particular Stowa model.

Was never a huge Pam fan, but that watch/strap/buckle combo is seriously badass. Subtle yet chunky in a very aesthetically pleasing way. Nicely done!

Hmmm...I think I prefer the first combination. The lighter brown really complements the gold beautifully.

Welcome! And yes, patience is always a good quality when looking for just the right watch. It also helps avoid impulse buying, which tends to make things easier on the wallet. ;)

I'm very pleased with the dark gray NATO I got from Gnomon. Goes swimmingly with my "civilian" Pulsar RAF, and while not quite the same shade as the issued Phoenix Admiralty Gray NATO, it's even...
Just caught this...great combination! The watch and strap truly seem made for each other.

Welcome! Never been a huge Omega fan, but I've been digging the new Seamaster Bullhead reissue. However, at $8,000, it rather exceeds your price range (and mine!). Perhaps vintage ones are more...
Welcome! I'm pretty sure your exposure to this forum will grow that collection in no time. ;)

Welcome aboard, Alun! Glad to have you here...

Hey Ross...welcome to the forum. I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit Orkney a few years ago. What a wonderful place to live it must be! In any case, I'm sure the knowledgeable folks on this...

That Autavia is sooooo special. The Dodane, Glycine, and Bulova aren't half-bad either. An enviable collection indeed! :)

I certainly can't think of any, and the more I see that Stowa TESTAF the more I like it. It totally outshines the Sinn TESTAFs, IMHO. I can't wait to see more companies producing TESTAF-spec watches...
Funny, I know an old-school watch repairman named Al Maddox who works out of the financial district here in NYC. He recently started doing similar pieces--cufflinks mainly, with the occasional...
Beautiful watch, from the brushed metal case to subtle play of different colors...really well done. I think the minute-hour bezel looks best, BTW. ;)

Classic look! Hard to go wrong with rallye straps on Heuers...

That Master Calendar is quite lovely. Gets my vote... ;)

Both are amazing...that '60s Carrera looks just as new as the 2009 Monaco!

I guess it depends on what kind of leather strap you have in mind, but yes, I think it could be a nice aesthetic change. Anything in particular you were thinking of putting on there?

Lovely stuff! Really like the colors and textures...very unique.
