You’’d like to think the Mk1 came first, but Ive had very early F’s with Mk1 and MK2 dials I’ve even had a D serial with a Mk1 dial and flat 4 insert

Your correct I have a period correct Mk3 bought before the prices went mad
But I’m loathed to fit it as I like the faded blue and vanilla pip of the insert installed
