I've got one from about four or five seasons back, it's actually pretty lightweight so use it with a quilted Belstaff liner in the winter and on its own in the spring / summer.
Lovely jacket &...
As mentioned already, Transporter Sportline all the way. Caddy / Maxi Sportlines are pretty decent too if you don't need that much room.
Popped into the new Red Wing store off Carnaby Street last night, great to finally have somewhere you can see and try on all the styles. Couldn't help myself and ended up with a new pair of black...

Got Pirelli Sottozero runflats on at the moment, very noticeable difference to the Falken summer tyres I had on. Highly recommended.
Can get a good 1200 / 1210 with that budget, plenty of ways of upgrading when funds allow.
Post count & daily forum posts vs claimed workloads in this thread don't quite add up......
Yosemite's great in the summer, can be a bit tricky in the winter.
The drive from LA > SF / SF > LA is amazing in itself. Check out Hearst Castle on the way. Loews in Santa Monica is great, right by the beach - get some bikes and cycle down past Venice beach etc....
About 93,000,000 miles.
Cheaney do a leather sole with commando style insert, didn't see them in the Lime St shop yesterday though.
Ones I ended up getting had a thinner Dainite sole than some others, the thinner the...
Or if you're James Bond.
I've just bought a pair of Cheaneys with Dainite soles for work, they'll be worn with a suit when it's too wet to wear my leather-soled Cheaneys.
You wouldn't notice they're Dainite when they're...

Used these guys on a couple occasions before for couriering wheels I sold on ebay - highly recommended.
Gave the soles of my new Cheaneys a few good layers after breaking the soles in, had to walk about half a mile between work and the station the other day and it was raining, grip was fine.
That...
And on the flip side last week I switched from 19" summer non run flats to 17" winter run flats on my 330D and think they're great. Car feels a lot more surefooted than it did in the cold and wet,...
After you've got a bit of dry wear on the soles, get some of this and apply several decent layers to the soles, letting it soak in in between layers. It won't fully waterproof the soles, but it will...
I've also got one of these, highly recommended for the money. As said, no wires or cables to increase resistance, the faster you go the more the resistance increases. Takes 90 seconds to set up too,...
Thanks, temperature is dropping regularly to around 5c overnight at the moment so think I'll swap to winter tyres this week. Other added bonus is I won't have to worry about the wife kerbing my...
When do people usually switch to winter tyres? Bought a 330D a few months ago which is currently sitting on 19s with Falken 452s but have bought a set of 17s with new Pirelli Sottozeros as I'll most...

Like Stows a lot, the coffee ones with red lining look great. How do they come up size wise?
Looks much better when all the blinds are up.
