Just finished Mr Inbetween so will be starting this and The Offer and Shogun.
Watched a few Oscar films over the last couple of weeks; Past Lives, Poor Things and Anatomy of a Fall were all very good, solid 8.5, just a notch below Oppenheimer, 9.
Also saw Anyone But You...
Watched Babylon last night. I am half way thru and its a fairly fun but silly ride with very little plot. I'll carry on and watch it all tonight but think the poor reviews are accurate, Margot at...
Just saw the first ep and it was good, Amanda Seyfried helps ofc!
Don't know if this is a new fashion tick tock thing but its not for me.
I really liked Mav and actually thought Cruise underplayed his role quite a bit, he was alot more animated in the first one. Rooster and the now big Rom Com guy were the bigger flashier characters.

Finders Keepers
After the Flood
Too Good to be true
Half way thru Based On a True Story and enjoying the fun ride about True Crime fanatics, bit like Only Murders in Building.
I remember reading the Winter King many years ago, sounds interesting.
Vigil 2 was a slog, gave up after 2 eps, just not interesting.
Watched Your Name, huge rating on IMDB, and watched it a couple of years ago but I wasn't paying enough attention so decided to give it another go and concentrate, and it was very good, very...
Agree with talking to someone at ebay they are usually sympathetic and you can argue your points with them, and if you are lucky they can take direct action.
It's good. I really liked Another Round, esp the great ending with his dance, and am going to watch Riders of Justice soon.

Don't watch much ITV either, but the Long...
Watched the acclaimed pair of Japanese films, Drive my car and Wheel of fortune and fantasy, both are very good, think I enjoyed Wheel slightly more.
Speaking of Barbie as some have been, I saw Barb Wire the other day on some sky channel, it was truly awful, even Pamela Anderson in her hey day and being as sexy as she could, could not help this...
Lovely day yesterday.

Congrats, I used to have a DD2, still miss the lovely President bracelet.
Congrats, I've had IWC on my mind lately, esp like it on the rivet straps.
Love that colour. I had a Pagani Paul Newman and it was very nice and well made.
Looking forward to Ridley's film, he has a penchant for historical epics, and Napoleon certainly deserves a shot and Jacquin seems like good casting. Saw a recent doc on Nelson In his own words and I...
Funny you say that because 20 years ago when I was making a short film I had him come in for an audition for the bad guy, a vicious loan shark. He didn't get the part but he could have.
A more...
Agree, fascinating to see a foreigner working for a Japanese newspaper and the spectacular culture clash, and then throw in the Yakuza and hostess clubs.
Also enjoying the fun ride and characters...
Well that certainly turned out to be true! One of the most interesting and thought-provoking series I have watched, and with a good ending too, which is very rare, unlike Line of Duty, GOT, Dexter,...
