The numbers 3, 6 and 9 should be white and not the same colour as the lume.
That was my price range too. £1,999 is far to expensive.
Was thinking of trading it for a Tudor Pelargos when a couple of friends advised me that prices of the Big T had probably risen beyond my estimation!!
Was shocked when I found out its true value...

I would avoid any with damage to the Ceramic Black Shroud, as you can't get replacements, but apart from that they are great watches to own. Are you after the 600m or 1000m?

I bought one a few years ago, have been keeping it for my sons 21st birthday in two years time.
Really beautiful watch, but a lot more expensive than I would have thought.
I didn't buy it for an investment, I bought it because I like it.
Would have thought it would hold its value, but not fussed.
Can't recall any Rolex going down in value over the last 15 years,...
