Watched the first episode of 'Blue Lights' (series 2) last night on BBC.

I enjoyed Series 1 and this new series seems promising too....

Freddy was the star for me (Daniel Ings).
His character just got better with each episode.

It depends on what flicks your switch.

For me it was just OK.
Worth a watch if you like his stuff and want a simple entertaining story but nothing special. I wanted it to conclude by episode 5/6ish.

Has anyone tried the new series of Fargo yet?

I have heard that it has been released recently (on Prime Video).

Really enjoying the BBC series of Boiling Point.

As recommended above, The Sixth Commandment on BBC is pretty good and well worth a watch.

Chilling to think it was based on real life crime(s) - one which I had never heard of before.

Quite enjoying Clive Myrie's Italian Road Trip on BBC. He doesn't always come across as the most natural and relaxed visitor and some of the 'hidden gems' he uncovers have been seem numerous times...

I think it was the slow-paced melancholic feel which I liked. As you say, it is not often done nowadays but is not to everyone's viewing taste.
