Go for the garage Tony, the cost is soon forgotten where lack of space isn't!
Thanks for the info!
I do tend to geek out on this kind of stuff....
Lovely, the pair of them! It looks like yours is a DBD34 model running a monoblock carb, does it also have the close ratio RRT2 gearbox?
Do you also have a goldie or did I imagine that one!?
For the ultimate in not signaling your intentions ride a vintage machine. My Rapide has 6v electrics, no indicators and an anemic stop light only operated from the rear brake, however it does make...

^^^I have fond memories of the Suzuki 500T, a vastly underrated classic these days and an underrated bike back in the day.
If you like riding the R1250RS I would have thought you'll love riding the R1250R.
Had a nice chilly ride out to Gloucestershire yesterday to visit the Classic Motor Hub .
The Rapide was gleaming when I left and thanks to 3 sets of traffic light controlled burst water main...
^^^Always good to see a bike being ridden regularly!
You must have had the munchies Tony, Starbucks!?!?
And I did have a chilly 64 mile run on the Comet, never was a cup of tea so welcome. My fingers were ice cold!

I think the issue with the NOS set of fuel lines I bought, which I didn't consider at the time, was that they were genuinely new old stock - in other words decades old and not ethanol proof!
The...
I went to go out for a ride on the Rapide last weekend, turn on the petrol tap and ended up getting a petrol soaked leg. Even though I only fill up with 5% ethanol fuel, in the course of a year it's...
^^^Lovely machine, congratulations
