Are we certain this is actually available for sale though?
It's enough of a thing for one of our resident RSC watchmakers to declare he won't be buying anything with a 32xx movement in it.
The silver dial is the one, trust me. Absolutely gorgeous. I agree re: size. The OP41 wears well on my 18cm wrist. Now if only the 32xx movement issue wasn't a thing.....
I'm not wealthy enough to pay the going rate on these but, much like I won't pay 5 figures for a 16710 cos I remember when they were unloved at £3.5k in 2014, I simply couldn't pay £15k plus for...
I switched from Green to Silver when I tried the silver on. Its sublime.
I'm pretty sure everything I got offered can't be flipped for a profit. All the big hitters are obviously passing on these pieces.
I got offered white gold Sub with blue bezel and a yellow gold skydweller on Oysterflex today. Neither are anywhere near my wish list. DM me if anyone is interested. Am still waiting on a silver OP41.
Pretty sure this is the case for most models nowadays.
Not sure what the black line is that you speak of but fwiw, I'm pretty sure that the romans on the dials of the previous 6 digit references (116***) were white gold with no lume anywhere. I came very...
I'd like a link to your podcast too please (assuming it's about watches).
They had a OP41 in silver so I tried it on as I'd always liked the look but feared the light dial would wear too large. It doesn't and it's utterly sublime. The silver dial catches the yellow gold...
I've been on list since March and was given no timeframes. Going to pop in today to have a look at the new bb54 and Metas 41 and to remind them I'm alive.
Pelagos 39 in Goldsmiths Merry Hill. Tried it on and it felt small and actually not that slim either such that it seemed a little top heavy. I think my perception of size has been recalibrated after...
I agree. It's getting more than silly. I've expressed interest on a bluesy and a 'bright blue' OP41. I'm not holding my breath.
I hear you but paying rrp on any Rolex now is financially prudent. I'd say the fools are the ones paying way over list.
My girlfriend was in San Francisco last week. She found the Rolex AD and got quite excited as there were rows and rows of gents sports models in the window. After speaking to a sales assistant it...
Sorry, good skills that man. It is a 37mm. I chrlecked whilst I had my new Speedy sized.
Silver dial Yachtmaster 40mm in Goldsmiths Merry Hill today (and both black and blue BB58).
Fwiw there is an Airking at Bahrain airport.
There's a 2015 Hulk in a jewellry store in Bahrain. Full box and papers for £9k. Should I be tempted?
Actually zero mens Rolex at T3 today save for a couple of blinged up day dates in the column displays :-0
From what I've seen over the years, the list order isn't necessarily sequential. I was on the BLNR list at my local AD for 3 years before it came through. I'm also on their list for a Pepsi but...
Good lord no, not my kind of thing at all. There was a solid gold Datejust (think it was a 5 digit reference) with champagne dial in T.H. Baker just up the way though that caught my eye. Not seen...
Not any more!
I'd echo this. Almost zero chance of success when you go deliberately. Just enjoy your day off!
