    Re: CPL final

    Re: De-odourizing a rubber strap.

I once bought a used car, one year old and drove it for 7 years, even when I sold it the steering wheel (and so did my hands after driving it) still smelled like the after shave the previous owner...

Re: Your most accurate Automatic watch?

My PO ist my most accurate watch ever...it simply has no variation at all...100% spot on.
One of the reasons, if not the one reason I am not selling as I am fascinated day after day.

    Re: Dress watch upgrade/alternative

I think the Nomos offers perfect understatement. It doesn't serve any other purpose than telling the time and satisfying the owner. No "image gain" no prestige...just a great piece of craftmanship...

A pity it doesn't fit fat springbars. I use Seikos fat springbars on all my watches...except with steel...

    Re: Dress watch upgrade/alternative

Not offended at all. Since I am so much into the Glashütte brands that it never came into my mind they could be confused. They are all so much different. I prefer Nomos for not being on of those...

Re: Removing paint from watch hands ?

2836 makes it easy to find hands. I just googled the watch...finding the exact same hands but without the orange isn't easy if not impossible. Anyway I would try asking the manufacturer first, at...

I didn't say from "Glashütte Original", just from "Glashütte" which simply is the city where the watch is manufactured.

    Re: Dress watch upgrade/alternative

How about a Nomos Zurich from Glashütte, around 3.200 GBP, fits the budget.

What a nonsense...just compare your watch with the same reference using to check the kameras clock accuracy, why taking the loop via the kamera?

    Re: Advice for a NooB.

Start with 6497/8 based watches, parts are larger and if all fails you can have the Seagull 3600 for very little money to replace.
