Agreed, I was a bit skeptical, but I laughed out loud quite a few times.
Good start.

Just watching the last episode now.
I have enjoyed it, but it's full of flaws, things that make no sense, and I'm one all for suspending disbelief.
Also major characters come and go in the...
I've just started watching this - Not really sure what I think yet, two episodes in.
Also watching Gray - Quite enjoying it as it's nice to see an older woman play a sexy, dangerous character -...
No sorry, Band of Brothers, not Battle of Britain.

I've not seen Masters of the Air, but the trailer doesn't look as good as BoB.
The Pacific wasn't as good, either, so I'm not going to pay for an Apple TV subscription to find out how good it is....
I seem to be in a bit of minority, but I'm not a great fan of the star.

PS I have, however, warmed to The Gentlemen.
Yes, I felt the same - If you're a big fan of Ritchie, I guess you'll like it, but if not, it's pretty much more of the same.
However, I don't see a great deal of crossover from the film, aside...
I quite enjoyed it, but did feel the ending was a bit of a cop out.

I found that a bit of a disappointment.
Raised a smile from time to time, but I don't think there were any moments that made me laugh out loud.
Somehow it always looked funnier on the trailers...
Agreed, 3 episodes in and building nicely.

Have you seen the film about Turner?
One of very few films I gave up on part way through.

Quite enjoying Kaleidoscope on Netflix a couple of episodes in.

Each to their own, I thought it was a great adaptation of the character in the novels.
That said, I couldn't get beyond a couple of episodes of the Wire.

I've just finished Pine Gap.
I enjoyed it, although there are some rather shouty performances.

It's a thriller not Shakespeare.
I think it does improve, first episode especially didn't grab me.
Honestly, though, if you think the Mandalorian has better acting, I don't think you're going...
I enjoyed "The Night Agent", reasonable plot and fast paced enough to keep up the interest.
Started watching "The Diplomat", but undecided at the moment.

Did Amazon make any Ripper Street episodes or just get the rights to show it?
M
Indeed, she doesn't seem to recall very much of it at all!

I used to love the Water Margin, but Monkey just seemed like gibbering nonsense.

Enjoying the first episode of The Gold at the moment.
The whole of a New Order track before the title doesn't hurt for me!

I found the F1 series on Netflix tough going, but some friends with little interest in motor racing love it.

You missed the best bit, Yasmine Akram.

Agreed, but watch it with subtitles, I'm convinced the dubbed version voice actors hadn't a clue what was happening, so inappropriate were the tone of voices at times.

I felt much the same.
I wasn't particularly impressed (unlike many, I found Peaky Blinders rather dull - I watched the first series, but haven't felt the urge to watch any more), but I'll give the...
Definitely, but even better if you don't research the story first!
The Nat Geo documentary on the Thai Cave Dive rescue ("The Rescue") is excellent, too (and I enjoyed the Ron Howard film as well,...
